Cedric Diggory's Little Sister

Chapter 7

*****Rosalyn's POV*****

***5 months later***

I gasp and shoot up on confusion, looking around the place. I spot Harry kneeling beside me and I scramble toward him. I notice the cut and begin to panic. "Harry? What happened? Why are we here?" I rush out. "You'll be okay, Rosa. You're safe and Joe is waiting for you not far outside of here." He explains. My eyes well with tears. "But what about you? I refuse to leave you here to die." I whimper, reaching a hand out and caressing his cheek gently. I hear a bird cry out and turn to see a Phoenix flying toward us. It lands and perches by Harry's injured arm. I notice tears falling off it's beak and onto Harry's wound. I gasp in realization. "A Phoenix's tears has a healing property that could heal anything." I explain. The wound closes up and I hug Harry close. He quickly hugs back and I look into his eyes. He leans in and places a light kiss on my lips. I press my lips against his before he can pull away and we kiss until we need oxygen.

I climb through the rocks and into a larger opening to see Ron and Joey with Lockheart. "ROSA!" Joey yells and pulls me into a tight hug. "Harry saved my life." I mumble into his ear. He pulls away and steps over to Harry. I laugh as Joey pulls Harry into a tight hug and thanks him repeatedly. I give Ron a quick hug and Fawkes lifts us all out of there.

I wake up in the hospital wing with Mione hanging over my face. I let out and squeal and pull her down into a hug. "Madame Pomfrey told me everything that Harry told her about that diary. I'm so sorry we didn't realize sooner then this whole thing wouldn't have happened." She cries. I shake my head and let her go. "When can we leave?" I question. "Right now. Your robes are right here for you." She says. I nod and rush to get dressed and ready.

I run with Mione down the stairs and we stand by the entrance. I hug her quickly and we head in. I wave goodbye and head to the empty seat beside Ced. I sit down and wrap my arms around him. He jumps in shock and turns to me. He relaxs and hugs back. "Joe told me what happened. I'm glad you're okay now." He mumbles in my ear. I nod and look over to the Gryffindor table to see Harry looking at me with a smile. I smile back and release Cedric from my arms. "Did you thank Harry for saving my life?" I question,pointing to the table. "I could never find him when I wanted to." He explains. I nod and send a vine quickly over to Harry. I watch him look down at it as it reaches him. I quickly form the message. He looks up and nods in agreement. "He'll wait for you outside our Common Room after the feast." I tell Ced as I bring the vine back. He smiles and we begin to eat.

I drag Cedric quickly toward Harry who stands beside the Common Room entrance. "Harry!" I cheer, pulling him into a hug. He hugs me tightly in return until Ced clears his throat feeling a bit awkward. I pull away and a blush raises to my cheeks. "Harry." Cedric starts. "Yes Cedric?" Harry asks. "I want to thank you for saving my sister from that chamber. I'm truly appreciate it." Cedric says. I smile. "Can I talk to Harry alone for a moment Rosa?" Ced asks. I nod my head. "I'm going to bed now. Night Harry. Night Ced." I say and head in.

*****Cedric's POV*****

I look down at Harry and narrow my eyes at him. "You like my sister?" I ask in a low tone. He backs away quickly. "Yea." He squeaks. I step closer and tower over him. I look down on him and a smile at him. "Well I'll give you some tips on the train tomorrow." I state. He relaxes and nods his head. I pat his shoulder and step toward the Common Room entrance. "Get to bed. It's a long day tomorrow." I state. He nods quickly and runs off. I see a vine wrap around him and pass him an orange-yellow rose. I see his cheeks turn a bit red as the vines dissappear from sight. I sigh and head inside once he's out of sight.

I drag mine and Rosa's trunks down to the courtyard and place them with all the other trunks and turn to see Rosa pick something out of a tree. I walk over to her quickly and pull her into a hug. "Heya Rosie Posie! What you got there?" I smile. "A mini monkey. I thought Mom would like it." She smiles, showing me the tiny creature she found. I kiss her head lightly. "I'm sure she'll love it." I state. I look up to see Joe running over with his friends and Lydia gripped onto his hand. "Lydia! Mione!" Rosa cheers, pulling the two girls into a hug. "Rosa!" They laugh. "How are you spending your holiday?" Rosa asks them, pulling away. "I don't actually know." They say. She sighs. "After I get home, the next day I'm going to Tokyo, Japan. I don't know why but my dad wants me to go on his trip this time and we're meant to get back the day we leave for school." Rosa explains. My heart drops and I lift her up in a hug. "Who will entertain me while you're gone?" I ask. Joe clears his throat and waves at me. "You have me still. Although I'll be in the woods healing animals." He says. Lydia awes and wraps him in a hug. "I'll make time to visit you, Lydia. I may find you a cute bunny." Joe says and kisses her cheek. "EW! NOT IN FRONT OF ME! THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND!" Rosa yells. Joe smirks and places a kiss on Lydia's lips. Rosa screams in horror as they kiss each other. Harry quickly pulls them apart and Hermione pulls Lydia away from Joe in general. This is going to be a long train ride.
