Cedric Diggory's Little Sister

Chapter 15

*****Cedric's POV*****

I look around quickly to see no sign of Rosa, Lydia, Athena, Hermione or Ronald to be seen. I turn to Harry, Joe and Ethan. "They haven't shown up yet." I state. They frown and look at the lake. I tune out Dumbledore as I begin to think about the challenge. The horn cuts my line of thought and I quickly place the bubble-head charm on myself before I dive into the Black Lake.

I see a row of people tied down, their bodies as stiff as a board. I spot Harry looking at them in confusion and look over the faces. I spot Rosa floating with vines around her arms and swim quickly toward her. I cast a quick spell at the restraint on my sister and pull her back up to the surface. I look back down to see Harry looking at the people tied there while Joe grabs Lydia. I propel myself up with a spell and shoot up to the surface. Rosa begins gasping for air and gags as water enters her mouth. I wrap my arm around her and paddle us toward the docks. As we reach it, hands quickly grasp onto Rosa and pull her out. I pull myself out and sit beside her. Fred and George pass us a few towels and I wrap three of them around Rosa and drape one around my shoulders. I pull my sister close to me and she cuddles into me for warmth. I watch the lake as Joey pops up with Lydia. Followed a moment later by Ethan and Athena, then Viktor and Hermione. I look around to see Fleur sitting with others from her school, drenched by the lake and looking flustered.

I watch as Ronald and Fleur's little sister pop up from the lake's surface and gasp for air. I place a hand on Rosa's arm as she warms us up with her hands on fire. I nudge Rosa as Harry shoots out of the water. Rosa shoots up quickly and rushes over to him. I laugh as Rosa wraps him in a few dry towels and warms him up with her hands.

I walk with Athena and the bouncing Rosa into the Great Hall. I lift my sister up and wave goodbye to Athena as she heads over to Ethan, Fred and George at the Gryffindor table.

I look away quickly as Harry kisses Rosa. After a minute she starts coughing, turning away from Harry quickly. We gasp as she sneezes fire. We quickly rush her out and up to the Hospital Wing. Madame Pomfrey gasps in shock as she sees Rosa sneezing fire and quickly sets up a bed. I lift Rosa onto the bed and Pomfrey begins to check her up. "Rosalyn has the flu. She should feel better soon but until then she'll have to stay here and rest. You can all head off and do something with your time. She'll be feeling better tomorrow." Pomfrey states, placing a wet cloth on Rosa's forehead. I nod and lead the others out of the hospital wing.

I walk into the hospital wing at lunch the next day and see Rosa in her winter gear. I wave at her once she looks up and run over to her. "Cedric! I was just going out to the snow before going to the ship! Come with me!" She says. I shake my head and sling her over my shoulder. 

I yelp in shock as Rosa begins shifting the snow around in the middle of the air. She climbs onto one of the mounds and glides around. People begin to gather around and watch as she mucks around. I spot Harry, Ron and Hermione run over and stare at her in shock. Suddenly everyone is lifted up and on top of a mound of snow. Everyone quickly slips off and the snow mounds begin to melt quickly. I watch as Rosa slips off and is caught by Harry. She opens her eyes and smiles up at him. He places a light kiss on her lips and carries her away.

I step into the library and head to the section of spells. I pull out a book and see Harry and Rosa making out on the other side. I gag and place the book back in place. I shake my head and move to the other shelf. I pull out a book to see Lydia and Joey kissing. I groan and slam the book back. I quickly walk over to Joey and pull him away. I drag him over to Rosa and lift her over my shoulder. I move quickly out of the library and to the ship.

I place Rosa onto her bed and shove Joey onto it. "No more kissing in public or around me please?!" I ask. They sigh but nod in agreement. "I have to get going now. I promise Harry I'd help him study." Rosa says and runs out quickly. I shake my head and flop onto the bed.

*****Rosalyn's POV*****

I laugh as Harry attempts to answer one of the simple answers. I grab his hand and take his quill. "No more studying for you Mister." I state. He looks up and frowns. I pack up all his things and pull him outside.

I sit down inside the boat house and pat the spot next to me for Harry. He sits down quickly and wraps an arm around my shoulders. I cuddle into his chest and close my eyes. "It's nice to be alone with you for a while." Harry sighs. I nod and look up at him. He looks down at me and leans in, placing his lips on mine. I press mine against his and wrap my arms around his neck. Suddenly I'm sent flying into the water. "No kissing around me!" Cedric yells. I sink to the bottom and narrow my eyes before moving the water to hit him. I climb out of the water and grab Harry's hand. "Good bye Cedric. See you at dinner." I say, lifting him up in with the liquid around him and dropping him into the water.
