Cedric Diggory's Little Sister

Chapter 16

*****Joseph's POV*****

I'm brought out of the maze quickly by the people in charge and I spot Rosa running toward me. "Joey!" She cries and hugs me tightly. I hold her close to me and move quickly toward our parents in the tents. They wrap me in a hug and hold me close to them. The crowd begins cheering and Rosa runs out quickly. I pull out of the hug with my parents and run after her. I spot Cedric and Harry outside of the maze with the cup. The only thing wrong about the situation is Cedric isn't moving and Harry is crying over his body. Rosa let's out a blood curdling scream and runs over to them as fast as she can. "Cedric?!" She cries out, lifting his limp head into her lap to be splashed with tears. Her cries become louder and the cheering stops. "A boys died! Everyone stay seated!" Professor Dumbledore calls out. "That's my son!" Dad cries out, running over to Cedric. I quickly follow and place my hands on his chest, closing my eyes. Suddenly he jerks up into sitting position and I open my eyes. Rosa screws her eyes tightly and grips onto our older brother. "Calm down Rosie Posie. I'm not going anywhere." He laughs. She shoots away from him quickly and bursts into tears. She jumps onto him after a minute of staring at him and wraps her vines around him tightly. He rubs her back and holds her close to him while she cries.

I walk beside Cedric while he carries Rosa into the Great Hall. As the door opens, everyone looks toward us and begins clapping. I notice the vine wrapping more around him as Rosa clings to him. I spot Harry rushing over as we take a seat at the Hufflepuff table. "Hey Harry." Cedric smiles, rubbing Rosa's back. "Hey Cedric and Joey. Can I borrow Rosa for a few minutes?" He smiles softly. We nod and I pull Rosa off of our older brother, placing her in Harry's arms. We wave as he walks out of the Great Hall and disappears from sight.

*****Harry's POV*****

I place Rosa on her feet in the empty courtyard. She looks up at me in confusion and I wipe the tears from her face. She gives me a smile and places a kiss on my lips. I blush and hold her close to me. She pulls away and looks into my eyes. "What happened in the maze? Why was Cedric dead when he came out?" She questions with a cute little frown. "We reached the cup at the same time and agreed to grab it at the same time. We ended up in a graveyard where Pettigrew showed up. A voice told him to kill the spare and then Cedric died. Voldemort came back to life and Pettigrew was telling him about you and your powers. I got trapped on a gravestone for the most of it until I was forced to duel him. The spirits of the dead people I know protected me when our wands connected and Cedric told me to take his body back to Joe. Now here we are." I explain. Her arms wrap around me and she grips onto the back of my shirt. "I'm glad you're all okay. I don't know what I'd do if something happens to you all. More you, Cedric and Joey than the others." She whispers in my ear softly. I place a kiss on her cheek and lift her off her feet.

I laugh as Rosa runs off the ship dragging her trunk across the ground as fast as she can while Cassia and Hercules run along beside her. I spot Joe carrying his trunk over his shoulder with Nisbet perched on top of it. All the girls are giggling while they watch him. I run down the hill and grab the trunk from Rosa. She gives me a small smile and places a kiss on my cheek before lifting her cats into her arms. I blush and lead the way back up the hill where Cedric stands making out with Athena. Rosa runs up to them and smacks Cedric on the back of his head. They shoot apart and look to Rosa in confusion. She gives a wave, quickly placing the cats in Cedric's arms and runs away as fast as she can.

I walk into the Great Hall to see Rosa talking to her Hufflepuff friends group near the entrance. They look toward me and burst into giggles. I send them a confused smile and they burst out laughing again. I shake my head and sit beside Rosa, wrapping my arm around her shoulders. She looks up with a smile and puts her face in my shoulder. "What were you laughing and talking about?" I question. "Guys we think are cute and how you still haven't noticed that the zipper for your pants is down." Tiana laughs. The girls nod in agreement and my face flushes red in embarrassment. I quickly remove my arm from around Rosa and quickly zip my pants up. I feel a pair of lips place a kiss on my cheek and wrap their arms around me. "It's okay Harry. They were planning on not telling you instead." Rosa whispers. I look into her eyes and smile.

I walk into the empty train compartment with Rosa and allow her to take the window seat. She smiles and pulls out a large book. "Why are you reading an advanced Defense Against the Dark Arts book?" I ask, looking over her shoulder. "It's what I needed for the class at Durmstrang. I haven't finished it yet. Before we left, I talked to Professor McGonagall about taking some advanced classes that I excelled at when at Durmstrang. So I won't be in a few classes and I'm taking two others." Rosa explains. I nod and place my head on her lap. "I'll wake you up when we're nearly at the station." I hear her giggle. I smile and drift asleep quickly.
