Chapter 2: Dancers? Dancers.

Laysha's POV:
I wake up & I get dressed,I tie my wavy hair into a messy bun & slip on my Nike sweats & my windbreaker since it is a bit chilly outside,I put a bit of Chapstick & a tiny amount of lipgloss & go downstairs for breakfast,I kiss my mom & siblings before leaving,my dad again working late,truth is he spends so much time at work that by the time he does get home I'm asleep,I miss spending time with him & he misses time with me,I take the bus to school,which was like being on a bus full of animals,some kids started swinging from the bars in the bus,finally we get to school,me & Mercedez & Cole all reunite & meet up at the "try outs",the lady stands up "hello everyone. I know you are all here for try outs don't worry all of your talents will be noticed by us. Just only like a hundred students can get in so.." She says before sitting down obviously making my nerves hit the roof,Cole grabs my hand which is shaking,"don't worry it'll be okay" my friend Andrew walks in "so this is where you guys are huh? Ditching lunch with me?" He says a bit mad & I giggle "your so crazy drew I love you." I say & he smiles "same here".

Mercedez's POV: i would be lying if I didn't feel attracted to Andrew,he's obviously good looking & a total sweetheart,but I have to keep focused on the try out for this program..
(A while later) it's my turn & everyone claps as I walk over,the music starts & I start dancing,(a few minutes later) after I finished I was all sweaty & the lady smiles "thank you...Mercedes?" "Mercedez" I say correcting her politely,"okay thank you." She says & calls over Laysha....

Laysha's POV: I walk over & the music starts playing & I start dancing,I make sure not to miss a beat,after I finished everyone clapped,"thank you Laysha. loved it sit down please" she says & I sit down,I hear the lady "next!" Then ugh Azalea walks to the center,why is she even here,she doesn't even dance right,she started doing cheer moves & all 4 of us started giggling,"wow. She knows how to stretch that far imagine when she's..." Andrew says & I cover his mouth "shut up boy!" He smiles & I roll my eyes playfully,(after everyone danced) "okay I'll call the 100 dancers now" she says & starts naming people,as she's coming to end of the list she says "Andrew,Cole,Mercedez & Laysha" & she smiles "welcome to the program" Azalea rolls her eyes "you gotta be kidding me right!? I was dancing awesome!" "You were but it wasn't for the program Hun those were cheer moves" she stomps her foot & we mock her as she walks away we high five each other "We're Dancers!" We say in unison,we laugh & we grab our bags & head to class...looks like this senior year won't be that bad...
