Chapter 13: The Past Is The Past & Netflix Dates

Laysha's POV:
(Friday morning)
I wake up smiling since one more day until the weekend but I shouldn't be too happy
The finals are in like 2 weeks
Which means if I do good at the finals it will lead me into college & I can get that sports scholarship
I brushed my teeth & started brushing my hair
I was sighing as I looked at the ring on my finger
Nate wants to tell the school about us
Honestly i don't know how they don't know yet
It's so obvious by now
But people are so wrapped up in whatever to realize
But I'm nervous to be honest
The whole school will know about me dating the popular guy
Means gossip will spread & hate will be thrown at me
I don't want that to happen
But school's cruel
I finished fixing my hair after I tied it in a bun & got dressed

After I got dressed,I put on some red lipstick since Nate likes it on me
& I didn't bother with eyeliner today since it's prob gonna rain again
Since it's been raining recently
It's hilarious seeing the "A's" get drenched in rain waiting for Ashley's stepdad

My dad picks us up now since he's been getting days off which is great
I get to spend more time with my dad
Anyway I went downstairs & grabbed some snacks & stuffed it in my mouth & ran out as I realized I was running late...
Mercedez's POV:
(At school)
Andrew's been very jealous over the fact Matt's been talking to me recently
It's not like I like Matt...Drew's my BF & I love him & only him
I just needed help with my mom's car
Matt's good with cars so I told him if he can help
He agreed to & Drew's been very overprotective ever since
Today was suppose to be the day Matt comes over to do it
But something makes me feel uncomfortable Ashley wants to come long as well?
She's my best friend's enemy that's not right so I argue over that
She still insists to come
Being the little puppy he is
Matt said she can come
I was upset but again it's his GF it doesn't matter anymore
He hasn't even made it official with her
He says they're just "friends" emphasizing the friends part

(After school)
We finished class & we left the building
Matt's coming over so I went home with drew since he wanted to come
I got changed into a different outfit

I put on my outfit (as seen above)
Matt arrives & I'm sitting on the couch with drew
Ashley I guess got bored outside came inside & sat down
"So mer-" I interrupt her "Ashley your here because of Matt it's bad enough my best friend doesn't know about this I feel terrible doing this" she smirks
"Mercedez..you know Matt & you had a special thing.." She says
"We never did." I say bluntly our relationship wasn't the best
"What about Johnny?" She says smirking & I covered my mouth
Johnny was my first BF
We dated in junior year
It wasn't good
He was a nerdy boy but was also a player
He had a GF when he asked me out
Let's say our little relationship ended at 2 months
It was stupid
We never kissed tho or anything
So I truly wasn't even in love
Because we acted like we didn't know each other until school was over
It was a horrible 2 months of my life
Laysha luckily pulled me away from that relationship as she saw how it was
Ashley smirks "Johnny kissed you at prom.." She says playing with her hair
I gasped "we never kissed!" I say mad
Drew stared at me
"I thought I was your first kis-"
"Oh no drew Babyboy this girl had a little action before she even wanted to have a baby with Matt" she says
I raised a eyebrow
I never wanted a kid with Matt
I mean I'm not ready for kid why would I want one with Matt?
This hoe's making rumors...
I stood up
"Ashley I never kissed a boy besides drew. Matt never got near to kiss me" I say
She laughs evilly "aw babygirl you forgot how I saw everything"
"Ashley I never did.." I felt my eyes water drew stood up & said "you had another BF in junior year" he says upset & I pushed him away
"You believe her the girl who makes everyone's life impossible go ahead I'm sorry if I messed up. I didn't kiss anyone but you okay?! Johnny was a ex I dated in junior year YES I ADMIT IT but we never did anything that was Ashley she kissed him & had her time with him..drew it hurts me to know you don't trust me.." I say
He wipes my tears
"Babygirl I'm a idiot to believe this hoe your the best thing that's happened to me I do trust you. don't say sorry for anything it was the past & it's to be forgotten,babygirl forgive me I love you too damn much to let you go." He says now tearing up & I kiss him
"I love you so much Andrew" I say smiling
He smiles "it's just us baby.." He says pecking my lips & Ashley scoffs
"I'm still here"
"Oh by the way Matt I don't need anymore help!" I yell & Matt sighs "alright."
They leave & Andrew holds my hands
"I'm sorry for my behavior this past week & today..I want to make it up to you."
He says kissing my hand & moving up until he stops at my neck & eventually kisses my lips
"Andrew..we can't.." I say
"Why?" He says worried
"Because I'm still not ready yet." He nods
"Okay cuddle then?" He says smiling like a idiot
I giggle "okay Babyboy" he raises his finger at me
"Never say that again ash called me that I don't want you saying it"
I mock him "Babyboy Babyboy." I repeat & he smirks & lifts me up & throws me on my bed & tickles me...we eventually wrestle around & land on the floor laughing & we watch tv from the floor with the blankets & he pecks my lips & whispers
"Mine"
"Yours" I whisper back
Laysha's POV:
I got home finally & changed out of my outfit

Nate walks in after I changed & I'm done doing my hair in a messy bun
He smiles & wraps his arms around me
"What's a beautiful girl doing in the mirror?" He says kissing my neck making me blush
"Fixing my hair" I say giggling
"Why? A date with someone?"
"Yeah with two people." I say smirking
"Oh who?" He says leaning on my wall & I walk over to him & I lean about to kiss him
He closes his eyes & I whisper "Netflix & food" & walk away & he laughs
"Can I come?" He says
"I don't mind come over." I say patting my bed & i turned on Netflix & handed him the remote he seemed amused & I grabbed snacks for us including a lot of pizza
I laid down & he picked out a movie & we started watching it
It was a comedy/romance movie
I laid my head on Nate's chest & he felt so warm so I cuddled into his arms
He held me tight & I smiled at him
"Nate I love you."
"I love you too lil mama" he says & pecks my lips
I smile & turn up some music & he sways me around
He dips me & kisses me
Tonight was a perfect way to end a night
With the man of my dreams....
