Chapter 15: im yours & chef in the kitchen

Laysha's POV:
(Saturday)
Finally the week went by faster than usual
Although I wanted to be with Nate today he's busy with practice & stuff so I decide to stay home
I get a text from Mercedez "from Dez🚗💨: girl you home?"
I text back "to Dez🚗💨: yeah"
Another text "from Dez🚗💨: not anymore get dressed we going out"
I smile & go into my closet & grab a outfit
I put on a blue crop top with a red long maxi skirt
Before i could curl my hair I get a idea to film myself dancing
I turn on the camera & start dancing...
Moving my hips around
I finished the 15 second video & I saved it & then posted it on Insta
Minutes later my phone's blowing up
I change out of the blue crop top into a white one & white heels & finish
Curling my long hair
After that I did a little eyeliner & lipstick & walked downstairs & grabbed my clutch & walked out...
Nate's POV:
I'm secretly at the studio
I've been rapping for a little while & I kept it to myself for these past months well weeks
Until I told Andrew he's the only one who knows
I'm in the booth & my phone blows up but it's mostly from Laysha's Insta account

Call me crazy but I like having it on I see her posts & stuff

I sigh & her mom looks at me worried "are you okay?" She says

"No one leaves this house on a empty stomach" she says smiling & walking into the kitchen

(A few hours later)
I walk into my house
Seeing Nate in the kitchen
With my mom
I decide for him not to see me like this
He'll freak seeing me dressed like this
I walk upstairs & change out of my clothes & I take a quick shower
I walk downstairs in sweats & a white loose t-shirt & slippers
My hair still wet from the shower in a bun
Nate sees me & smiles
"Hi baby" I kiss him

Freshly made chocolate chip cookies & they look delicious

I say laughing trying to sound funny
