Chapter 30: unexpected pregnancy

Laysha's POV:
(A month later)
I've been under the weather lately
I've been vomiting my food up recently
Nate feeds me soup most of the time
Mercedez & Andrew are back from honeymoon
I'm gonna miss them dearly
When they move to LA
As I'm laying down with the headache I've been having for like a week now
I hear a door close & I hear footsteps going up the stairs & leading to my room
The door opens showing Mercedez & Nate
"Hi baby" he whispers
"Hi.." I say whispering since I have pain in my head
Mercedez sits down on the edge of the bed
Nate sighs "you want water baby?"
"Yes please" I say
He walks out
I sigh "Mercedez it's been a horrible month for me" I say
"I haven't told my mom because duh I don't need my mom taking care of me"
I say
She sighs "you gotta tell her I'll call her"
She dials her number & I refuse to talk until my mom answers
"Hi mom" I say
"Hi sweetie everything okay?"
"I'm sick"
"Oh dear talk to me" she says
I tell her about everything
& the fact I can't keep anything down but soup & water
Then something she says makes me gasp & freeze
Mercedez waves her hand in my face
"Girl you okay?" She says
I smile big "I'll tell her to" I say
& we hang up
"What's up?" She says laughing at the smile I have
"I might be pregnant"
"WHAT?"
"I might be pregnant. I gotta do the test can you go buy them for me?"
I say pouting
"Fine but you stay in the car" she says helping me out of the bed & throwing a
Jacket on me & Nate helps her get me in the car & we drive off
We get to the pharmacy
I stay in the car waiting

She comes out with a bag
She rolls her eyes
"That lady thought I was preggo" she says
"It seems right to think that..I mean did you say it was for me?" I say
"No.."
"Then.." I say proving a point
She sighs & we get to my house
(At home)
I've been waiting for 6 minutes now
The timer rings & I stop it before Nate can hear it
I look at the test..
Positive
I'm pregnant.
I walk out of the bathroom with the test in my hand
Her face looks concerned
"So?"
I hand her the test & she screams & hugs me tight
"I'm gonna be a aunt"
"Who's gonna be a aunt?" Andrew says at the door with flowers for me
"Aww drew thank you" I say as he hands them to me
"I'm pregnant" I blurt out & he smiles
"Omg I'm gonna be a uncle!!!" He says lifting me up
Nate walks in
"Okay what's going on?"
Andrew sets me down & I smile
"Nate...I'm pregnant" I say holding his hands
He smiles
"OMG really?"
"Yes." I say tearing up a little
"Im gonna be a father."
He says hugging me & pecks my lips
(Later that night)
I'm about to go to sleep
I change into one of Nate's shirts & leave panties on underneath
I climb into bed & lay down
& I close my eyes finally falling asleep
Nate's POV:
I see my beautiful wife asleep
She's so peaceful like that
I feel overjoyed at the fact I'm going to be a dad
I rub her tummy as I cover her in our blanket
"Hi little one its daddy I promise to protect you & mommy from any bad guys who wanna hurt you guys. I love you." I kiss her stomach
& I lay down & wrap my arm around her & I turn off all of the lights
& shut my eyes
"Unconditional..unconditionally I will love you...unconditionally"
