Chapter 32: divorce & renuited

Laysha's POV:
I wake up & I rub my belly which is growing month by month
My mom's been helping me out
She comes in the morning to cook sometimes
But mostly takes care of me while Nate's away at studio in LA
I miss him
It's been like a week & I'm purposely wearing his shirts just to smell his cologne
Mercedez & I have been texting off the bat to each other
The boys of course stopped since they are in LA with Nate
Andrew's in Texas training
So we've been lonely so we kinda text each other every minute/second
I see a familiar car pull up in my driveway
Not Mercedez's
Not Andrew's
Not even Nate's
Matt's?
Wait why is he here?
I'm confused he's married to Ashley why is he bothering coming here?
My thoughts are being interrupted by the sound of a soft knock on the door
I hear "please open up Laysha its me Matt.."
I sigh & open it
He stares at my belly
"Your pregnant?"
"That's how long it's been since we last saw each other..yes I'm pregnant"

"Boy or girl?"
"Girl" I blurt out
He smiles
"Is Mercedez here?" He says
"No." I say serious since I'm not buddy-buddy with Matt
After the whole breakup with Mercedez then the marriage to Ashley
So I'm keeping the talk small & short
"Anyway why are you here?" I say wanting for him to leave already
"I wanted to talk to h-"
"Why would you think she would wanna talk to you after everything!?"
I say a bit mad
But I calm myself as I'm not suppose to stress or get mad
Because the doctor told me not to get worked up
So I sigh
"It's just..it's important.."
"But Ashley your wife?" I say rolling my eyes mentioning her name
"Ex wife" he corrects
I raise a eyebrow
"I'm divorcing her today"
He says frowning
"Any reason?"
I say trying to hide the smirk that's growing on my face
"She cheated."
I Hum because she does this all the time with every guy she's with
Then complains if the guy moves on

I roll my eyes "doesn't surprise me" I say
"It's just it was Cameron our new pool boy" he says
"Oh poor baby" I say acting like I care when I don't in reality
He sighs
"I should've known she would send me away places & she wouldn't wanna go with me"
He says
"Well when is it gonna be finalized?"
"Tonight" he says
"How your filing for divorce today?" I say confused
"Yeah but I want it finalized today"
"It can't be that fast Matt it takes months" I say
I see Mercedez walk to the door & sees Matt
"Why is he he-"
I interrupt her
"He wanted to talk to you he's divorcing Ashley today"
I say walking away leaving them alone but I put my ear on the kitchen door to listen
Mercedez's POV:
Well this is uncomfortable
"So.." He says awkwardly
"Hi?" I say & it comes out more of a question
"hi" he says sighing
"Listen mer-"
"No you listen Matt just because your divorcing Ashley doesn't me we can all of a sudden become a couple again I'm happily married to Andrew & I love him & he loves me I bet she cheated on you but honestly what came over you when we were together I wasn't good enough for you? You had to have Ashley? Well it's obvious you wanted her more than me so if you would gladly leave it would mean a lot"
I say finally feeling great that I let that out
"Actually she did cheat on me. With our new pool boy"
He says
"& I always loved you Mercedez"
He adds putting his finger under my chin
I roll my eyes & move his finger away
"Doesn't seem like that."
I scoff
"I didn't mean to beat up Andrew." He say apologizing
Omg I almost forgot that
I rolled my eyes
"You made him bleed Matt.." I say
Frowning since I miss him
It's been 2 weeks
I wish he was here & not in Texas
Hundreds almost thousand Miles away from me
I try to call him he's always busy training
If he's not training he's sleeping
It's a 4 weeks training
I can't take another 2 weeks without him
I teared up thinking of him
Matt frowned & wiped my tears
"Im sorry I just wanted to tell you if we can be friend-"
"GET OUT NOW" I yell with tears flowing down my cheek
He backs away nodding & closes the door not before leaving a note on it
(A few hours later)
I grab clean pjs
It's so lonely here in the house without him
His bright smile & words would always make me feel better
I Skype him
He answers finally omg my love
He smiles into the camera
"Hi babygirl I miss you so much" he says
"Hi baby.." My voice cracks seeing him
He frowns
"Are you okay?"
"No. I miss you & I need you" I say as a single tear rolls off my cheek
"I'll be there soon only 2 more weeks & I'll be there with you. You,Ruby & Eli"
He says smiling at the fact he mentioned our puppies we adopted from Laysha
Aka rambo's puppies
Well 2 from the 6 puppies
I get a text from Laysha
"Hey boo about to head to sleep be safe Hun ly💘"
I text back
"Goodnight bae💘 I'll see you tomorrow" I text
& I shut off my phone
I turn on the tv & start watching a tv show
I started watching the entire season of it
As I'm watching one of the episodes
I hear footsteps walk up the stairs & I get nervous so I grab a vase & slowly walk towards the top of the staircase
As I look down I see two blue/gray eyes looking at me softly
I jump into his arms
It's Andrew
I can't believe he's back
I kiss his face & lips
"Your back" I say
"& your scruffy" I say messing with his beard
"I missed you baby" he says pecking my lips
"I missed you more"
"Can I show you how much I missed you?" He says smirking & gives me a wink
I nod smiling "yes" & I kiss his lips as he carries me up the stairs & to our bedroom..
(The next day)
I wake up only covered by the blanket
I play with Andrew's sandy blonde hair & I kiss his forehead
How did I become so lucky with this boy?
Laysha's POV:
I fell asleep last night missing Nate's warm hugs & cuddles
It wasn't the same sleeping alone
That was until I felt two arms wrap around me as I was asleep
I wake up & Nate's smiling at me with flowers in his hand
He rubs my belly & pecks my lips
"How are my princesses?" He says smiling
"Better now that your home" I say
"Are you hungry?" He says
"Yes very" I say & he smiles & carries me to the kitchen
He makes breakfast & I ate it all
We cuddle on the couch
"I love you baby" he says kissing my head
"I love you too" I say
How am I so lucky to have Nate Maloley as my husband?
He kisses my belly
"Ah & 4 more months until I see my beauty" he says to my belly
"Hi princess it's daddy I missed you this week I'm so happy I'm home I'm never leaving you guys again like that." He says & rubs it before kissing me
& Rambo comes towards us & sniffs my belly & wags his tail
"Come here you" Nate says lifting him up & we continue watching a romantic movie that's on & I lay my head on his chest...
