Laziness Really Has It's Perks

RECAP: Alicia just went through her transition and is now a full-fledged vampire! Wooh! But, with raging hormones and feelings intensified, her fiance Leonardo becomes her target. Alicia's grudge towards him and his mean acts towards her caused him misfortune. In a split second of rage, Alicia stabs Leonardo in the chest with a stake and his dies instantaneously.

Chapter ten:

Oh my freaking cheese balls. I killed Leonardo. Shit! I was already half way through the castle to the throne room. Did that mean that I had committed a felony? Holy doughnuts! What am I to do? If I went back and slapped him silly would Leonardo come back? No... That would be impossible because he was dead! I am probably the dumbest vampire alive. Well, stuff that! What's done is done. I guess I'll just sit on the throne and pronounce myself Queen... Though technically, my parents are the ones who are still ruling... Oh man, I really didn't think this through. Why the hell did I kill him for?

I shuffled around surveying the place with caution. Should I run away? But to where? I had no idea where the portal to earth was and time was running out! Without much thought, I kept running. Suddenly, in a blink of an eye, I felt a giant item go through my back. I staggered forwards in searing pain. Blood started to stain my clothing. My eyes widened at the realisation that it may had been a fatal blow. But I couldn't see who my killer was. Then fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Wake up Alicia!" I opened my eyes and saw myself sitting in a hospital bed. What the heck? My parents were right in front of me. How did I survive? I desperately looked around for Leonardo. My raging hormones made me feel so guilty and I wished I had rewind what I did earlier.

"I didn't mean to! It was vampire hormones! I swear." I yelled urgently.

"We know darling, it's all part of the transformation."

"So it doesn't matter that I killed him?"

"What?" My mother asked. So they didn't know yet... The fact that I had stabbed Leonardo with a stake into the heart was still hidden. I could cover this up using strategies from the Dodging jail handbook 101! I think.

"Your transformation wasn't supposed to happen until this morning. Perhaps you consumed too much blood..." My father interrupted.

"Uh, yeah..." I laughed nervously. My parents left and I lied on the hospital bed feeling guilty.

I wondered who stabbed me. I paced around the infirmary desperate for answers.

"BOO!"

I screamed and did one of my reflex kicks. Being the clumsy person I was, I accidently kicked a mirror and it fell to the ground and shattered.

"Oh! Seven years of bad luck." Again I screamed.

It was Leonardo! He didn't appear to have any wounds.

"You're supposed to be dead! Why are you haunting me! Get back into your grave you knob head."

"Dead?" Leonardo looked at me. What if he was a zombie vampire! This was my fault! All of a sudden, Leonardo burst out laughing. "You never cease to amuse me!"

"I killed you!"

"Yeah, maybe in your hallucination stage. Not in real life. As if you'd ever be strong enough to even give me a bruised eye."

"That's sexist! I kicked you in the nut sack last time and it did a pretty darn good job." Leonardo glared at me. We glared at each other before breaking down and laughing.

It turned out, after I drank Leonardo's blood, I started to hallucinate. The part where Leonardo said "Good morning" and all that stuff was just my imagination. I didn't kill him. I am innocent! Guess I don't need the handbook anymore.
