EPILOGUE:

It felt like I had found tranquility. I was so, so glad that I was finally wedded to the girl that I'd been waiting all my life for. With constant promises from her parents that she would come back to Kendmark to wed me. Of course I'd have to act cool infront of her. Actually I was cool. Still cool anyway.

I had a duty. I had two nations under my reign now. If that meant I would reign alongside her, I was fine with it.

I'd just walked in on her parents quietly fighting. I found out her mother had cheated on the king. This was quite common in royal kingdoms, but I would never betray her. Maybe that's how the imfamous Cassandra's new husband died. He died of a broken heart.

They sat me down, looking apologetically. Both of them, admitting that they had made mistakes within their relationship. They were happy to mend it. Their love was finally rekindling, right after she came back to Kendmark.

After they left her on Earth to prepare for the war, their relationship became estranged. They told me how sad they were and how they couldn't face each other eye-to-see, because it terribly reminded them of her. After they left, her mother cheated on her father. Only once though, she said. But once was enough; because she fell pregnant.

On a pouring night, the queen cried in distress. In agony, she realised she had a miscarriage.

Only until now, did she confess.

I headed towards our bedroom. She was going to change our history. She was going to fulfil the prophecy. She was the only one who had Harley's power.

But when I entered the room, everything was quiet. Maybe she had gone out? I sat down on the golden armchair chair next to the fire and resumed on reading my nearly finished book that I found in the library. It talked about places on Earth. Soon it was getting quite late. She had not come back. Where was she? Did she get lost again?

I put my book down on the table, where the tea had been prepared by one of the maids. I finally noticed something that I should have noticed long before. It was a note. I knew that she didn't like me yet. But I knew she'd grow to like me soon enough. But how could she, if she wasn't here?

Don't look for me. My end has come.

Everyone was confused when the news had spread. What did she mean? Where was she? Was she still alive? Did she run away? I somehow felt outraged and numb from the excessive amount of pain she had caused. I was going to find her and demand an explanation. But I didn't even know where to start.

Her parents cried because they knew she was their only hope as a saviour of our realm. The people wailed and panicked. The angels were preparing for a war sooner than we had thought, they had no time to bore another child.

6 months later

Our realm was thrown into chaos. We were unexpectedly attacked. The Angels ruled over us, forcing us to serve them at their every whims for an eternity. I was captured and thrown into a cell that rejected my vampire powers.

The once powerful realm that topped the hierachy was now like hell.

She doomed us.

THANK YOU FOR READING MY STORY. This was quite a journey that I started a year a half ago I think. Was it? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this story and I really want to know what you think of the ending, so please comment! Okay, you probably hated it. Sorry. #Wasteyourtime20--
So if you didn't understand what happened: due to misbelief from overhearing that her mother cheated on her father, Alicia jumped to conclusions that her mother conceived her with another man. Not the king. Which is a totally wrong assumption, if only she stayed a little longer behind the door. Therefore she left angrily and quite selfishly, if you under think about the situation in the vampire realm.

Ask me any questions that you want to know about this story, and I shall answer the best I can.

To be honest, the ending that I always wanted for this story was something similar to this. Alicia would either end up ruling the Vampire Realm on her own (the part where she stabbed Leonardo) that was going to be one of the routes to the ending. However I decided against that. However, I don't really think that it was likely for Alicia and Leonardo to have a happy ending. But- things can change. Who knows, maybe Alicia felt bad and decided to come back? Maybe she could end this tyranny. Maybe she'll decide to join the Angels. If you like, you can comment what you would have liked to have happened afterwards.
