I found myself at the alter in my beautiful wedding dress. I was forced to walk approximately 200 metres starting from a farm and towards the church because it was 'tradition.' Oh, my poor legs. It was the most exercise I probably got in like a life time. Minus the kidnapping incident. People gathered and cheered me on as if I were part of a running marathon.
"Water, please. I mean, blood." I croaked.
I was terribly sad, shocked and tired. All at the same time. Firstly, I was sad that I had to marry Leonardo. Second, I was shocked that I was supposed to fulfil some stupid prophecy. Honestly, I was seriously considering pulling out of being a princess. Maybe I should just be a self-fish bitch that everyone hates. Maybe I should just run away... I shook my head, I couldn't do this. I needed to marry Leonardo and be the happy Queen, princess... whatever for Kendmark and Quenchlin. Finally, I was tired because I reached the altar.
We said our vowels, we kissed, people cheered and I felt nauseous. When we kissed I secretly jabbed Leonardo in the stomach and he groaned painfully. Thanks to my vampire powers! My jabbing skills were level 100. Hell to the yeah!
So technically I was angel and vampire. So then I was a hybrid... A hybrid? Holy shit! A hybrid! Did that mean I could fly. I fist-pumped the air.
"What are you doing?" Leonardo asked me.
We were in our chambers and getting ready for the reception. Apparently, vampires didn't have honeymoons. Too bad. I would have somehow made Leonardo my personal slave during that time.
"I'm- uh, never mind." I replied.During the reception, we cut the giant cake that had a volcanic-like eruption of blood that oozed out from the chocolate cake. Yum! Well to a vampire, anyway. Leonardo and I were forced to dance a dance that ended up with my spine making a crack sound when he positioned me to lean backwards on his arm. This proved how much I stretched and exercised.
My parents cheered for us and soon after, we retired to our new chambers in the castle. I was to move to Quenchlin's castle with my new husband. So much for reuniting with my parents.
That night, while I watched How I Met Your Mother on my coolest vampire gadget, -moment of approving nod- fastest internet ever, I was shocked. Leonardo came out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Leonardo panicked.
I turned to Leonardo with a whole heap mascara running down my cheeks.
"I, I can't believe it. I should have known earlier, there were signs everywhere!"
"Are you telling me what I thinking" Leonardo asked curiously but with a hint of panic. I bursted into my tears.
"Robin and Ted ended up together." I wailed. "How did I not realise this. I had a bet with my dad! GODDAMN!"
Leonardo looked at me even more confused. I was sad because now I had to pay up to my dad. Which also meant I had to swear off swearing. Oh the irony there.Leonardo howled with laughter with relief and disappointment. However, he was pleased because this was progress for my transition into a queen.
And from there, we lived happily ever after.
Joking.
The next day I overheard my parents yelling at each other.
"I can't believe you betrayed me!" I heard my father shout.
"I fell out of love with you." My mother shouted.
My heart stopped. I was right infront of my parent's room.
"I am the King! I can have you murdered as if it were an accident." My father bellowed.
They quietly argued afterwards, as if they knew someone could overhear.I ran away. I was scared. I overheard the commotion and it turned out that Harley was my mother's great grandfather. I overheard that only two royals could create a hybrid. Some law that I had no idea of.
Anyway, it turned out my mother cheated on my father and I presumed that I was pretty much, illegitimate. Well crap. That meant I wasn't the child that the prophecy fell on. Guess my mother had to make another baby.
I decided to go back to the room to hear more. Who the hell was my real father then? I couldn't hear my parents shouting. Or my parent and no-longer-my-father man shouting. With sadness, I felt heartbroken.
I receded back into my room and furiously got to work. I was angry. Angry at my mother. I had been lied to repeatly. I didn't know who my father was and now I just didn't care. I didn't even like Leonardo. Well not that much yet... I married him believing that it was my duty. But I finally had enough of this vampire world.
I wrote a note to Leonardo.
Don't look for me. My end has come.I opened a portal to Earth. I landed in Switzerland. Luckily I was still royal enough to be able to escape from Kendmark. From there, I ran from my vampire life. However, still bearing vampire genes within me. I planned to restart my life, starting from no money but eventually working my way up. I had my persuasion and transportation skills. I knew I could do it. I was going to go to all the places that I kept in my journal, in high school.
Everything was going to be all right.
Sorry Leonardo and Alicia shippers. A fresher ending maybe?... No? Afterall, Alicia isn't the type of girl who would fall head over heels for a guy. She also acts quite impulsive, so that's how she left so quickly.
