You Lost Me

Even though we're done

I think I'll be the okay one

because I've come to realize

that there is someone out there

who will understand my flaws

and not run off, when I say something wrong,

I will stay strong

and make you wish

that you could forget

about me and how I creep into your mind so easily

so as I go on singing my happy song

and I'll belong

to some new who's not you

who will love me

and see what they can have for eternity

which you lost because you didn't understand trust
