"Wah?"
"I have merged with the kyuubi, it no longer exist as a demon. It is just a soul in me with no chakra." Naruto said raising her head to meet their gaze.
"That's like the coolest eyes ever!" Tobi exploded, waving his arms around. Deidara smacked him over the head to shut him up. The rest studied Naruto as if scrutinising her. "Aren't you a boy?" Naruto blinked and gestured for him to continue.
"Why do you look like a girl?!" Tobi exploded again. Naruto's face twisted into a scowl and she yanked off her hood. "Because I have always been one?" Naruto asked, her eyes narrowing as if asking him to challenge her. "Love your long hair." Itachi murmured into her ear, everyone saw that slight turn towards her and saw her turn bright red. What the hell did the Uchiha say to her?
"So we can not take the bijuu?"
"No, we are not going to take the bijuu as we no longer can. We are going to protect her now. Everyone would be after her as people knows that she hold the bijuu." Konan said.
"But what about her vi-" Kakuzu asked but was interrupted by Naruto as she replaced her hood.
"That is no longer my village. They have banished me and stripped me of my ninja ranking after I brought back their precious Uchiha, soaked in blood - my blood. They have me beaten to the brink of death and thrown out. My friends shunned me and my so-called teachers said they said they were disappointed in me because I tried to kill my comrade. He put a f*ing hole through me!" Naruto snarled, agitated as she gestured to her chest. "He came back without a single scratch! He then got away without a single charge, he wasn't even charged for running rogue! I lost a whole group of friends just to save one friend. Then I lost that one friend to help another." Itachi grasped her hand under the table and gave it a squeeze to let her know that he was here for her. "Have you guys ever wondered why missing nins started disappearing from the list of missing nins but they are still alive and well?" Naruto asked, raising her head enough to show them the smile on her lips. "That was me. I have been trying to clear as many names as I could, half of you here were accused of a crime that you never committed and I found evidence then presented it to your kage. Your kages cleared your name and removed you from the list of rogue nins but you are no longer a citizen of the village, meaning your ninja ranking has been stripped and you do not have a country/village to go back to." Naruto said quietly, playing with Itachi's hand under the table. "Are you apologising to the ones that no longer have a village to go back to?" Nagato asked, leaning back into his chair. Naruto nodded but she looked up in surprise when some cheered.
"Yatta! I'm free!" Kisame and Deidara cheered. Naruto blinked and Itachi shook her hand to get her attention and sent her a small smile to tell her she did the right thing.
"And, I tried to help Itachi but I failed. Sasuke had thrown me out the window literally when I mentioned Itachi's name and what I wanted." Naruto said as she raised a hand to wipe her eyes again.
"Hey, don't cry. You did good. At least you tried un!" Deidara said, seeing as he was the closest to her age and can talk to her the easiest. Naruto wiped her tears away and raised her head to flash a grin. "Don't worry, I haven't given up."
"You're planning something."
"Yes."
"Not about Itachi I mean."
"Yes."
"Do we have any part in it?" Pein asked.
"Do you want any part in it?" Naruto asked, intelligent and confidence shone in her eyes. The previous shyness and reluctance all gone. This is the real Naruto. "You have been holding back."
"Yes. Even with Sasuke, I never fought him seriously." Naruto said and smirks or grins all started appearing on each Akatsuki member's face.
"The akatsuki is now officially disbanded, I am joining you." Nagato said.
"Me too." Konan chirped. Everyone threw in their agreement on the statement. Naruto's lips twisted into a small smirk. "But you guys don't even know what I plan."
"But you are a smart child, you know what is right and what is advantageous." Itachi said, looking at her. Naruto smiled at Itachi, he still know her as well as he did since 8 years ago before he left. The most advantageous thing would be to have the S-ranked ninjas on her side. They would protect her like she is going to protect them now. Naruto thought through her plan again.
"I am positive my plan is going to work."
"And your plan is?" Nagato asked.
"My mother, is an Uzumaki. My dear cousin, the Uzushiogakure is a ruin now..." Nagato leaned forward, everyone did.
"I like your thinking, cousin." Naruto smirked.
"I like it too. So... Are you guys still in?" Naruto asked, pushing back her hood a little to meet their gaze."
"Hell yeah." Hidan said, excited about the prospect.
"Definitely."
"Me! Me! Me! Me!"
"Yep."
"Alright then, let's build a shinobi nation that would be feared by the five great shinobi nations and admired by the others."
