Chapter 25

"Let's do this." Naruto whispered, clutching Itachi's hand like a scared little child that just wants to shrink away. As they neared the gates and came into the views of the few ninjas standing at the gates, the two released each other's hands just so that they don't give anything away. "Welcome Uzukage-sama." Tsunade greeted, bowing to Naruto. Naruto bowed back. "Hello to you too, Hokage-sama."
"Please, call me Tsunade." The woman said as they began their walk towards the hokage tower, earning stares from the villagers that were either curious or in awe due to the rumours they have heard. Naruto nodded slightly and Tsunade almost frowned. The Uzukage doesn't trust us. Tsunade thought as they entered her office.
"Do you not trust us?" Tsunade asked suddenly, after a short pointless chatter. She noticed that the Uzukage seemed to tense in her seat and the bodyguards were all frozen. "Do I not trust you?" Naruto asked carefully.
"Yes and no. Me and the rest of the village. You should know that it is perfectly safe in this village." Tsunade said, Sasuke held in a snort of amusement as he leaned against the wall, choosing to stay with Naruto. However, Naruto openly laughed, her laughter was hollow and mocking.
"You think this village is safe for us... Baachan?" Naruto asked. Tsunade's head snapped straighter in surprise. Naruto raised a hand to remove her hood, the rest following suit soon after. Air pressure built up in an area of the office, as an Anbu flung themselves at one of them. The anbu's hands trembled as they pressed down harder to try cut through the barrier-like wind. "Does that look safe to you, Tsunade?" Naruto asked, as Sasuke was standing behind her, a kunai in hand blocking the sword that had tried to slice her head open. "They are no longer missing nins, I do not appreciate it if you attack my shinobi." Naruto said calmly, but her aura told a different story. She was angry.
"Stand down and leave." Tsunade ordered. The anbus reluctantly back away and shunshined away.
"Why did you... Call me Baachan? Only he-"
"She." Naruto corrected.
"What?"
"Naruto is a girl. I am Naruto, I am hurt you couldn't tell it was me by my chakra." Naruto said mockingly putting her hand to her heart. Tsunade gaped in shock. She stared hard at the beautiful and stunning looking woman in front of her. This woman in front of her literally radiated power and confidence. "But, but even if you're Naruto. You still look different!" Tsunade spluttered, refraining herself from waving her arms around like an idiot. 
"Oh. This?" Naruto asked, absently bringing a small bunch of hair forward to stare at it. "This is would be results of merging with kyuubi. Before being banished," Naruto sneered, making Tsunade flinch, "your villagers beat me to the brink of death. " Tsunade was still feeling guilty about not being able to help. The council has too much power and they assume they can always vote to overrule the hokage. "The eyes too by the way. I feel like I look like an absolute freak but they say otherwise." Naruto said, gesturing to the rest standing behind her.
"... So you wouldn't come back to the village now... Since you have your own village?"
"I do not belong here Tsunade, Uzumaki Naruto is not allowed into the fire country."
"You do belong here-" Naruto cut her off with a raise hand. The two held each other's gazes. "I never lived here in the first place. If you looked up on your records, Uzumaki Naruto never existed as it has been a pure alias. Once I have assumed my real identity, the alias would be destroyed and it would disappear like it never existed." Naruto said.
"Then what are you living as now?" Tsunade asked hesitantly.
"Namikaze Uzumaki Naruto." Tsunade gaped.
"That's-"
"The yondaime hokage's surname, that's right, I am the child of the yellow flash." Naruto finished, nodding. Tsunade opened and closed her mouth, not sure what to say. "I wish to retrieve my inheritance Tsunade." Naruto said, her voice saying that it was final and that there was no rooms for discussion.
"Very well. We shall announce that the heir of the yondaime hokage wants their inheritance back." Tsunade suddenly started cackling, surprising the others but not Naruto, she has seen it coming. "It's gonna be the funniest thing when they realise they messed up so badly! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. I sounded crazy, ahem." Tsunade said, the others shared a smile. They are starting to like this hokage now. 
"What about something else to make the experience even more better, hokage-sama?" Sasuke asked, holding out a scroll. Tsunade took it and unrolled it hesitantly. Everyone watched as her eyes widen with every sentence she reads before her face started splitting into a huge grin. Then laughter bubbled from her and she was soon bending over with her head resting on the table laughing so hard her stomach is hurting. "Oh my! I love this so much! Thank you Uchiha, I owe you one." Tsunade said, trying to contain her laughter and school her features as she rolled the scroll back. Sasuke and Naruto shared a look, that could be used to their advantage...

"WE SHALL MAKE THEM SUFFER."
