Naruto looked at the two ninjas that had a stern look on their faces. The blond kage straightened her shoulders and they released her, feeling the authority radiating from her. They stood next to her, not stiff but with the same formality and respect as they would with any other high ranking official. Kiba knocked on the door and they heard a faint 'come in' before entering. In there, they were greeted with the sight of Naruto's crew and a few of the civilians cowering in the corner, clearly intimidated by the Ushiogakure shinobis. Naruto glanced at them, only to see anger in their eyes that were glaring at the civilians. "Hokage-sama." Naruto greeted, making Tsunade raise her eyebrows before she caught a glint in Naruto's eyes. Naruto wants to demand authority in the room and what better way to do so than to have your title called?
"Uzukage-sama, thank you for joining us. We were just... Discussing with these civilians about you-" Tsunade was cut off by an angry screech.

"Demon brat! You brainwashed them all! It's high time you died!" The woman screeched in anger and it was followed by a chorus of agreement from the other civilians. One of them rushed towards her, grabbing the metal letter opener from Tsunade's table. Naruto remembered that letter opener, she had given that to Tsunade when she first became Hokage. Back then, she had no idea what to gift the newly inaugurated Hokage. She had felt embarrassed at giving such a mundane gift but the sannin expressed her happiness at the gift, the letter opener had been engraved with simple intricate carvings that told a simple story of how Naruto gained a new family member with Tsunade being introduced into her life.
They were all about to leap into action but a gesture from Naruto stops them from helping her immediately. Naruto had quickly swapped out the letter opener from the civilian's hand with an actual weapon. The civilian screamed in fright when she impaled Naruto with the kunai. The women usually don't take part in the physical stabbings or bludgeoning of Naruto, they stick to the psychological abuse and throwing random objects at her. Itachi grimaced at the sight of his future wife being hurt. He knew she had plenty of opportunities to move away, she even had time to swap the weapons. So why? Why did she do what she did?

Naruto raised an eyebrow at the woman who took a shaky step back, staring in horror at the blood on her hands and Naruto. "Why do you look so afraid? Isn't that what you've always wanted to do?" Naruto asked emotionlessly, tilting her head to the side. Naruto pulled out the kunai as she made her way to Tsunade, setting down the letter opener that was still clutched in her clean hand. "Hmmmm." Naruto made a noise as she turned to look at her fiancé, holding a silent conversation with the older Uchiha. "Ne, Tsunade-sama, isn't it a crime to attack a kage? Especially a Kage from another village? That would definitely jeopardise the two countries' relationship, don't you think?" Naruto asked Tsunade then at the few civilians who were cowering behind each other at the killer intents directed at them. Tsunade folded her hands in front of her mouth to hide her grin. This is a lot of fun watching those that tormented her grandchild suffering and fearing for their lives.
"Well, it could be considered treason for attacking their own Kage but attacking another country's Kage basically trying to start a war. Yes."
"Ah, starting a war... I'm sorry Tsunade-sama but your civilians will be the first ones dead if a war breaks out between us." Naruto commented, looking at the kunai that is still stained with her blood. The wound that had been inflicted on her had already healed, all that remained as a reminder is the torn fabrics and the blood.
"Ah why is it so?" Tsunade asked, amused. towering over them were s-ranked ninjas that are former criminals of the most notorious terrorist organisation, each and every one of them hold a place in the bingo book as with a flee on sight order on their heads.
"Well, for starters, my shinobis," Naruto said waving a hand towards the ex-Akatsuki members who have their hoods hiding their faces from view, "they all know of the 'special' treatment I receive from your village and they are not happy about that-"

"We are the superior village! Your stupid village is worthless with your so-called shinobis are probably some academy levelled ninjas." One of the villagers retorted with a shaky but loud voice. Naruto turned her head towards the offending voice. Naruto's lips twisted into a smirk.
"You are making a mistake insulting my shinobis. Isn't that right, Itachi?" Naruto asked her partner slyly, everyone knew who Itachi was. The prodigy of the Konoha, the youngest Anbu captain that turned rogue after murdering his entire family. The civilians froze in shock at the name, "you lie! The Uchiha would never join you." Naruto's smirk only grew wider as she turned to look at the man whom she loves with all her heart. Itachi raised his hands to ease the hood off his head. The Ushiogakure headband tied on his forehead, on display with pride. Naruto felt herself swell with love and amazement at how beautiful and strong her fiancé looks.
"That's where you're wrong. He is already a part of my army, aren't you my beautiful lovely fiancé?" Naruto said softly, as she gestured for the rest of them to follow suit with what Itachi did. She heard the civilians gasp in shock at the way Naruto addressed Itachi, they trembled in their spot at the terrifying looking ninjas standing behind their Uchiha prodigy.

"Dear Hokage-sama, I am terribly sorry for wasting your time." Naruto muttered, turning to the blond Hokage.
"No, I am sorry for the insolent behaviour towards you Uzukage-sama." Tsunade said, standing up. "Anbu! Take these civilians away, make sure Ibiki takes care of them." Tsunade barked, the wind shifted as the Anbus appeared, gripping the screeching civilians before disappearing with them. Tsunade sighed, massaging the bridge of her nose.
"They are such embarrassments to the village." Tsunade muttered angrily, making everyone chuckle as they relaxed.

"Why can't I have civilians that are probably polite and respectful like yours? I haven't heard anyone of you complaining about the villagers' behaviour. Heck! They probably don't come to you guys with mundane complaints that they could've easily resolved by themselves." Tsunade complained.
"Well, that's true. They only come to talk to Naruto about emergency situations such as a building that could be built for education and making a national celebration for Naruto's birthday." Kisame said, grinning when he remembered a hoard of villagers barging into the office with a stack of papers filled with suggestions on what could be done to celebrate the birth of their Kage. "Never would get that with Konoha... wait. I do. The Kyuubi festival." Naruto said, making everyone wince at the reminder as they now know some of the details to what happens to Naruto.

Itachi let out a soft sigh when they finally got some alone time. They sat next to each other on the Hokage monument to watch the setting sun. Naruto had excused themselves from the group when she realised that the sun was setting and teleported the two of them to the monument without any warning to Itachi. He looked over to watch Naruto, the glow of the sun made her even more beautiful than she already was. When Naruto noticed the stare, she looked over wondering what Itachi was looking at. Itachi shook his head at the silent question before pulling Naruto closer to kiss her forehead. "I love you so much." Itachi muttered, making Naruto smile to herself.
"I love you too." Naruto said softly, pulling on Itachi's collar for a kiss, all the feelings of anger and hatred and isolation leaving her as all she feels now is overwhelming love for Uchiha Itachi, the love of her life... her savior.

Everyone knows that despite what the world throws at you, a little bit of love and determination can conquer. A little bit of love and friendship can help anyone. If they don't have enough strength to love themselves, that's alright too. To show them that you love them with everything you have, they will one day see that they are worth it.

The end! Thank you guys for reading and supporting my story. :3
