Sakura was about to offer medical aid when they all noticed the wound was no longer there as the blood being washed off by the other person. "What? How?" Sakura whispered.
"I know medical ninjutsu too, Haruno." Naruto said, surprising the Konoha nins again until they remembered her hearing was very good. Akamaru's head turned the same time Naruto did, both towards the same direction.
"What's wrong?" Kiba asked, looking around and being alert.
"I heard that too snowy but you've gotta ignore that one." Naruto replied, but... It was to the dog and not to Kiba. Then she turned to Kiba, making sure to keep her face hidden. "It was a dog whistle did you not hear it?" Naruto asked, surprised that the Inuzuka couldn't hear it.
"No, I don't hear any." Naruto blinked. Then it must be a different sort of dog whistle, I honestly don't know and I don't care. Naruto thought as Itachi gently took her other hand to wash.
"Well then Akamaru and I must be going insane, right Akamaru?" Naruto joked and the dog barked. "No? What do you mean we're not- ohh, you're just saying Kiba has a really sh*tty hearing." Naruto said, amused. Kiba snapped up at the insult, glaring at the white dog with a passion. Kiba growled at the dog and it growled back.
"Let's keep going. Stop growling at each other, Akamaru stop cursing at Kiba." Naruto ordered once Itachi finished and she retrieved her sword back from Konan then storing it in a storage seal hidden somewhere. She had ordered Tobi to teleporting the enemies into the dimensional place using his sharingan and they could deal with them later. "Do you want me to carry you?" Itachi asked Naruto, worried for her. He knows there's some sort of injury on her that she isn't telling anyone. She had jumped in front of the two Uchihas when the tag exploded so she copped it the worst. "No no, I'm perfectly- ow! Don't do that!" Naruto said, glaring at Itachi who poked her in the side where her rib is. "You have a injured rib, fractured or broken I don't know but you shouldn't strain yourself." Naruto inched towards Sasuke as Itachi inched towards her. "No!! Save me Uchiha!" Naruto exclaimed, diving behind Sasuke as Itachi lunged forward.
"Uh..."
"Move Sasuke." Itachi ordered.
"Uhhhhhhh." Sasuke said, unsure who to help. His best friend or his Aniki? Argh! I hate this kinda tricky situations! Sasuke snarled in his own mind as his eyes darted between the two cloak figures moving in front and behind him. The others just watched the situation either in shock or amusement or anger - in sakura and Ino's case. Naruto grunted in surprise when Sasuke twisted around and scooped her up, much to Sakura and Ino's protest. The two were screaming their disapproval and Naruto pressed her hands to her ears at the sudden noise. Sasuke growled quietly to himself and the Uzu ninjas glared at the two from under their hoods. Naruto growled angrily and with a flourish of her hand the sound immediately seized, the two had their mouths open but no sound was coming out. "Next time, I will f*ing tear your throat out and skin you alive!" Naruto grounded out, her hand clutching her rib area. Sasuke could feel her tremble from the pain. He gently passed her to Itachi and this time she didn't protest, she just rested her head on his chest. They were unsure what she was doing as they couldn't see her face. But the Uzu nin started walking not caring if they followed so they just started following, not sure why. They could have gone their separate ways.
Naruto waved her hand subtly again after an hour of them all walking in comfortable silence with a few occasionally having a quiet conversation with each other. She had released the suppressing jutsu on the two without them knowing so that the rest of them can have a few or minutes of peace until they tried to open their mouths to test again. Naruto spasmed when Itachi accidentally landed rather harshly onto another tree branch, she could tell he was getting tired already. "It's okay Itachi." Naruto murmured to the man who glanced at her when she spoke.
"But you'll get tired."
"You're tired too, you can put me down." Itachi shook his head and with a slight wave of his hand, Kisame joined him by his side and took Naruto from him, relieving him of the weight. Itachi nodded his thanks. "You okay kiddo?" Kisame asked, they all treated her like a little sister.
"Yeah." Naruto murmured weakly, her head leaning on the blue man's broad strong chest. Kisame frowned, they were all still learning how to interpret her responses, most of the time when it relates to her health she would always say she's fine even if she has a broken arm, fracture bones, cracked skull, cracked rib, punctured lungs and suffering a high fever at the same time. She never wanted them to worry and would hide from them. "Are we there yet?" Naruto asked, raising her head weakly. Something is clearly wrong. If it was just a rib injury, she wouldn't be looking so pale and weak.
