The whole drive going to the beach, I just slept, trying my best to ignore the unknown and uncomfortable feeling in me. I mean, I'm on the same van with the man on my dreams and nightmares. I don't know what to feel...

So, I chose to ignore his presence.

"We're here!"patiling sigaw ni Monique Martin pagkahintong-pagkahinto ng sasakyan.

I don't know that she's this bubbly and wild!

Pupungas-pungas kong idinilat ang aking mga mata at sumilip sa bintana upang makita ang nasa labas.

"That tired, huh?"narinig kong sabi ni Yuan sa aking tabi.

So, this is a hotel and resort. Napakaganda nito sa labas pa lamang and I am sure, that my jaw will literally drop once I see the inside of it.

Agad kaming in-assist ng mga receptionists doon upang dalhin kami sa aming kwarto.

"Can I sleep in your room instead?"tanong ko kay Yuan ng makitang magkatabi kami ng kwarto ni Angelo. Napapagitnaan ang kwarto'ng na-assign sa akin ng kwarto nila ni Angelo.

"Or, can we just exchange rooms?"

"What?! Don't you like your room, darling?"napatingin kami ni Yuan sa aming likuran. There, Monique Martin with her creased forehead.

"No, no. She likes it. Actually, she'll sleep in there."maagap na sagot ni Yuan.

I glared at him and he just wink at me. I got his signal.

"Yes, that's right."I smiled at Monique Martin.

"Okay. I thought you didn't like the room I picked for you."madaling araw na pero napakataas pa din ng energy niya."Come. I'll walk you to your room."my eyes widened at her offer.

Sh-t! How can I exchange room with Yuan?

"No, no, no. I can mana-"

"If you'll reject me, I will think that you really did not like the room-"

"Okay."I gave up. I look at Yuan and he just grinned at me.

I rolled my eyes at him before following Monique Martin whose pulling my luggage now. Wala na nga akong kawala.

I can't help but praise the room she picked for me when I saw it. The room shouts elegance and feminity.

"Did you liked it?"tanong niya.

"Yeah, it's beautiful."tumingin ako sa kanya at saka binigyan siya ng tipid na ngiti.

"I'll go now. I know you lack rest because of your all-day interview."sabi niya."Good night, darling."she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

Once I closed the door, I quickly discarded almost all my clothes and headed to the door that I think was a bathroom. And indeed, that was a bathroom.

Hindi ko na masyadong pinagtuunan ng pansin ang kagandahan nito dahil sa sobrang antok na aking nararamdaman. I took a quick bath and headed straight to my comfy bed afterwards.

Nagising ako sa sunod-sunod na katok sa aking pintuan.

I groaned inwardly and slowly get off the bed then walk to the door with my mind still dazed from sleep.
