The Light Witch

Her First Mission

Charlotte was concerned that she was teamed up with Adrian. He wasn't at a high level and was more strong willed. She admired that but felt as if she was paired with him to even out the skill level. They were lined up with a bunch of older Witches facing Lewis. Lewis was pacing up and down the line carefully studying everyone.

"Char- I mean light witch" he said obviously teasing her. "You and Adrian will take a train back to your town to capture the Monster, is that clear?" He asked. They both saluted. "Yes sir!"

They decided to meet up with Charlotte's parents. "We're so glad that you're safe but who is this?" Asked her father. Charlotte and Adrian were standing side by side at the doorstep smiling innocently up at them.

"This is Adrian" she said introducing him. She noticed her father glaring at Adrian. Adrian began to wonder if he could escape from the situation.

"Well we're happy to have you here!" Said her mother breaking the awkwardness. She grabbed Adrian's wrist and brought him into the kitchen. Charlotte sighed and followed them. She heard Serena coming down the stairs groaning. Serena froze when she saw Adrian.

"A boy is in are house!" She screamed. Her father patted her head. "That isn't polite he's just here on a mission." Serena's eyes glowed. "A mission? Can I come?!" She asked. Charlotte rolled her eyes but Adrian smiled at her. "Of course."

Charlotte was now being followed by two distractions. She walked ahead as Adrian and Serena had a serious conversation on what they should eat for lunch. Her stomach growled. Now that they mentioned it she was getting hungry...

Charlotte spun around. "What do ya say we go to that new fast food place."
"But aren't we supposed to be looking for the-" "It's perfectly fine, it's on the way there anyway" she interrupted. Adrian looked down at Serena who was tugging on his sleeve begging. "Fine" he said reluctantly.
