"Um I'll have uh..." Adrian dragged on. Charlotte groaned. "Just order something already!" She whined. Adrian glared at her. "A caramel milkshake please." Charlotte threw her hands up. "You made everyone wait just to say that?!" Adrian gave her a crooked smile and walked to a table.

He was evil. "Your turn Char" said Serena. Charlotte cleared her throat. "The strawberry cupcake please."
"Comin right up" said the cashier. Charlotte and Serena took seat next to Adrian.

"So, what's our next step chief?" asked Adrian carving something into the wood. Charlotte put her elbows on the table. "Well where do you think a Monster would go?" She asked. Adrian didn't reply continuing to carve. Charlotte was irritated again.

Serena nudged Charlotte. Charlotte turned to her. "What?" She asked quietly. Serena pointed to a shady looking man wearing all black. Adrian noticed as well and slowly stood up, heading towards the man.

"Adrian!" whispered Charlotte but Adrian was already in front of him and opened his mouth to speak but the man teleported. A strong wind blew everyone back and Adrian fell on his side.

Charlotte quickly ran to check if he was okay. What was she worrying about of course he was. He sat up looking dazed.

"That must have been one of them." Charlotte nodded. "Apparently they're able to take human form." Adrian stood up as Serena ran over to them. "This is gonna be harder than we thought."

They rushed out of the restaurant hoping they could find a trace. The Monster was gone with little notice. Adrian sighed. "Looks like we lost another." Charlotte looked off into the sunset and felt a sudden motivation.

"We gotta find it, come on!" she shouted as she took off into the fields. "Hey, wait for us!" Shouted back Serena. Charlotte didn't listen her eyes were focused on the sunset.
