Now that the world was out of her way Charlotte felt free to capture the Monster without any complaints. "Charlotte!" She heard Serena calling, she stopped and lookes back. Adrian and Serena caught up to her pamting.
"What's the matter slow pokes?" She asked. Once Serena got her breath she yelled "where are we going?!" Charlotte smiled mischievously. "You'll find soon enough, onwards!"
"Yeah!" Replied Adrian jumping past them. Apparently he was excited for the adventure. Charlotte sighed crossed her arms "Do you guys know where to go?"
Adrian stopped jumping and spun around his arms up. "If I was a Monster I would go to the Fallen Kingdom."
"But that place has been abandoned for years" replied Serena. Adrian went into thought.
"That is true, but we won't know unless we go there" said Adrian confidently. Charlotte looked the direction they were going to take. She admitted she was nervous but being around them made her feel safe.
Serena was singing all the way to the first stop. Adrian covered his ears. "Charlotte can't you tell your sister to shut up" he said on the edge of snapping. "Once she starts it's hard to stop her" replied Charlotte used to Serena's constant singing.
The path they were on grew narrow, the only thing they could see were trees. Charlotte looked up at the swaying branches. Leaves fell all around them like snow, it somewhat felt peaceful.
