Charlotte could no longer see the sun's rays through the trees. Night was here, the time when Monsters come out. "Hey don't you think we should find a place to take shelter?" Asked Charlotte. Adrian looked back at her with tired eyes, "it's up to you." Charlotte bit her lip. Do you ever think for yourself? Charlotte wondered, but she was the one that dragged them into this so it made sense that she had to take responsibility. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Ok, lets find a place to rest while one keeps a look out, sound good?" Serena nodded and yawned. Adrian looked at her with admiration in his eyes again and nodded.
They made it to a stream where trees with large hanging branches covered it. "We can rest up there" charlotte suggested to Adrian. Adrian shrugged, he seemed too tired to even object. They climbed up one of the willow trees and sat on the largest branch. Charlotte stayed awake dreary eyed as the others drifting to sleep. It was quiet but the soft snoring of Serena and Adrian mumbling something in his sleep, unaware of his head leaning on Charlottes shoulder. Even though it was uncomfortable it kept her awake. Right then she was daydreaming of coming back home with everyone at peace.
