It is now the afternoon of Friday, November 7th. My birthday is tomorrow. It is pouring rain out, and Charlotte is not at school today.  As I sit in History I think, instead of studying for the test we have on Monday. Autumn passed by to quickly. Not much has happened. Parker and I are still dating, almost 3 months. Charlotte and Chase went on a few dates, but not dating. Homecoming, I didn't go. I was sick, so Parker hung out with my that night at my house.  My Father is still working nights about twice a week. Grades in school are now Straight A's. But my thoughts are cut short by the sound of the bell.

I walk into Language Arts, and after the bell rings there is an announcement.

"Due to the tremendous amount of rain we are to receive today, classes will be dismissed in 15 minutes. So please call your parents for rides."

Crap, No Charlotte, I was about to call my Father, but someone else is calling.

"Hey baby. We get to get out early today!"

"Not so great, I have no ride."

"Me neither.... Want to take a romantic walk home in the rain?"

"Sounds fun. Mey me by my locker when they say it's okay to leave."

"okay, babe."

Everyone else is still on their phones, arguing with an adult about getting a ride.

I decide to text my Father.

"Schools done early, cause of the rain. Parker is giving me a ride home, see ya around 7."

"Class, go to your lockers, get your things, and see you on Monday!"

Everyone screams with excitement, and leaves the room.

By the time I get to my locker, Parker is already there.

I hear him think,

''Can't wait to see how gorgeous she is when shes soaking wet.'

I'm SO glad I only wore, black yoga pants and a white long sleeve shirt with a black and white scarf with birds on it.

"You ready baby?"

"Yes, any umbrellas?"

"Not today. Hope you don't have anything important in your backpack."

"Just notes for a test and my phone. No big deal, I'm due for a new one anyway."

"Let's go then."

When we walk outside its POURING rain so hard. No thunder or lighting though. Everyone else left already so no big. It pours harder when we step out. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to my house. But I have a better idea then walking.

Stretching out my hand to Parker, I say "Do you trust me?"

"Of course baby." HE says and takes my hand, and then we run, in the rain getting soaking wet.

After 10 minutes of running we look at each other.

"You know what Bri. You are the ONLY girl I want to date in the whole city. Your'e perfect. And not to mention even more Beautiful when soaking wet."

"Thanks Parker. Your not to bad yourself." We laugh and run the rest of the way home.

When we reach my house, he makes me stop running.

He takes out his phone, puts on a slow song.

"May I have this dance?"

"YES you may!" I throw my bag at porch, and we begin to slow dance in the pouring rain.

We were silent for a moment, I hear him think,

'I love her but what if she doesn't love me back?'"

HE takes a big breath and says, "Brielle, I love you!"

"Parker, I love you too."

"Really?!?"

"Does this make you think that?"

I reach in to give him a kiss. I always wanted that kiss in the rain, now I got it.

We stand there making out, his hands around my waster, and mine around his neck. He slipped his tongue into my mouth, but pulled it back,

'too soon for that.

I heard him think.

We kissed for about 4 minutes, but then there was a huge clap of thunder.

"I better get going, so my mom doesn't start wondering where I am."

"Okay." I say sadly.

"I had a fun time with you baby."

"Me too babe. Bye"

"Bye, I love you!"

"Love ya too." I lean in and give him another quick kiss.

Walking into the house, I smile and shriek with happiness, and I'm pretty sure that Parker herd me, cause he did the same thing right after I was done from a block away.
