Not So Normal

Chapter 10

I wake up before my Alarm goes off. It's FRIDAY! They are my favorite day. It's raining when I wake up. Turning on the weather it looks as if it going to rain all day. And be COLD! High of 56. It's a jeans and sweater kind of day. I go and grab my favorite pair of grey jeans, my light blue and grey, zip up hoodie from Old Navy, and my silver tang top with my pink bra. I felt like mixing it up. No one will see it anyways. I begin to get dressed when my phone starts buzzing.

"Good morning beautiful!"

"Morning Parker."

"Do you want to walk to school together?"

"It's raining."

"Yeah, I thought it would be romantic."

"Well, I usually catch a ride with Charlotte, how about we walk home together?"

"Sounds cool. See you soon Baby."

"Bye."

I text Charlotte,

Walking home with Parker today. Still need a ride this morning.

I finish getting dress and then walk to the bathroom. Same routine as always, to to bathroom, put on make up, and brush hair. By the time that is all done it is 640. Looks like I was a little slow today. I run back to my room, almost forgetting my I.D. I look at the picture and smile.

Walking down stairs by Father is down stairs, he looks slightly upset.

"Everything okay?"

He didn't speak but his thought was.

'I'm no longer with Maria. She told me that my worked to much and didn't have enough time for her. But we are still great friends.'

"I'm sorry Father."

I walk to get milk, bowl, spoon and Fruit Loops. I eat in silence. By the time I'm finished there's a knock at the door.

"Come in Charlotte!"

"Actually it's Chase. I'm suppose to walk to school but it's raining. Can I catch a ride with you and Charlotte?"

"Sure, no big."

We to sit on the couch.

I suppose I should tell him about Parker.

"So umm I'm not sure how to tell you but I'm....."

KNOCK

"Come in Char."

Chase goes up to hear have a small conversatin about getting a ride and then Char shouts to me

"Did Brielle tell you about Par-..."

I shake my hand by neck and shake head no.

She thinks

"Does he know yet?"

I shake my head no.

"Are we going or not?" Questions Chase.

"Yeah, lets get going. Bye Father!"

"Bye Breille have a nice day."

We walk out the door and squeze into the car.

"Mom, this is Chase."

"Nice to met you Chase. You can call me Ellie."

The rest of the car ride was silent. When we reach school Parker is waiting for me on the front steps. I don't notice until I step out of the car.

"Wow, your are still beautfiul in your casual clothes"

"Thanks Parker." I run up to him and gave him a hug.
