"Why didn't you tell me?"
"You don't understand. No one is suppose to know. It's suppose to be a secret kept from the world. But I thought you would be able to handle it."
"So were you just born with it?"
"No. I had a brain tumor when I was little and I got it from the Radiation Treatments."
"Okay, does Charlotte know?"
"Yes, but that's it. Char, my Father, the doctors and nurse who took care of me and you."
"So you can read everything I think?"
"No just the statements you think louder than others."
"What am I thinking right now?"
"You're thinking 'I wish I could kiss her right now but I'm in too much pain.'"
"Dang you're good."
"Yeah."
"Thank you for calling the Ambulance. They said if you wouldn't have called with 10 I could have not made it, and have serious memory problems."
"You're welcome babe. But I'm pretty sure you're Mother wants to talk to you."
"Okay. I love you."
"Love you too Parker."
I walk out the room and let his Mother go in. My Father is sitting in the waiting room. He was sitting next to Andy, Parker's Father.
"Hey Pumpkin. How's he doing?"
"Fine. He still remembers me so that's great."
"Thanks for helping to save my kid. He's lucky to have a girlfriend like you."
"Thanks Andy. You can probably go talk to him."
"Thank you." He gives me a hug and runs to the room.
"I'm so tired Father. Can I go home for the night?"
"Sure. But Parker is going to be in the hospital for at least two weeks."
"I will spend everyone of those days with him.mi just need a good sleep tonight."
"Okay Brielle. Lets to then."
We walk silently to the car. It was starting to get dark. I feel asleep on the way home.
