Did he really just say that?

The next morning I woke up feeling a bit better. I had thought of many things the past night and I understood that I should move on. I was very depressed and sad and all I wanted to do is cry scream and cut, but that wasn’t a solution. I called Kelsea

“I broke up with Justin”

“Goodmorn-What?”

“Yes”

“Why”

“Last night? He went at Selena’s”

“And where’s the problem?”

“He told me he’d meet with Scooter”

“Oh.”

“Look, I don’t want you to un-invite him to your party. Just when he comes, don’t start big conversations with him”

“Okay. So see you on Saturday?”

“Yeah”

Only one week was left for Kelsea’s party and she was very busy.

I got dressed and decided to go for a walk.

I stopped at Starbuck’s and I ordered a milkshake.

I don’t know if he had followed me but Justin appeared there

“Hey”

“Hi”

“May I sit?”

I just nodded.

“I’m sorry for last night”

“Gosh Justin how many times will I have to say ‘don’t fucking be’?”

“But I am”

“Okay, got it. If you came here for that you can leave”

“Don’t be so cold”

“Do you think I want to be cold?”

“Niki! I’m your boyfriend!”

“Excuse me? No, you’re not. Sorry but I’m not kind to people who I have no relationship with. You’re not family or friend. You’re ex”

Ouch that sounded cruel

“You’re such an ungrateful bitch”

What did he just tell me?

I was so shocked that I thought I was imagining. But no. What the hell.

I stood up, grabbing my milkshake and bag and turning to leave.

He caught my arm

“I didn’t mean that and you know it” he said starring at me

“If you didn’t mean it..then why did you say it”

“Just to hurt me even more” I continued

“And I don’t think you really want to touch ungrateful bitches”

“Can you get over it?" He said, clenching his jaw

"No."

And I left, without crying, just understanding for the first time in my life that he could be very rude.
