The rest of the week all I did was homework and training with the cheerleaders.

The school team's first football match would be on Saturday and we also had to work hard to impress everyone.

Today it was 4th of October. Which meant 2 months I had no contact with Justin and a week to my birthday..

(On Saturday)

I was with the other cheerleader at school, getting ready for the match. The team was with the coach for the final directions of the game, and the opposite team, from another school had already arrived.

We won. The school team had won the game and everyone was extremely excited. Mike was so happy and smiled to everyone.

After all the excitement, the team coach and the cheerleader coach took us for a drink to celebrate. Everyone was happy. The victory was ours!

We went to a cafe place and chilled for sometime. It was really nice. I was with classmates and friends and I was having real fun after a long time. My break up with Justin had made me feeling really down. But this..seeing people I know for years smiling and having fun beside me, in a spirit of victory...It was one of the best little things in life.

(a week later)

I woke up and the sun was shining. It was a beautiful day. I opened the window and breathed the fresh air. It was kinda weird to be such a great day in October..October 11. I realised it was my birthday.

I smiled a bit. I was 16. It was my birthday. I felt like blasting music and party all night but I remembered that the last time I partied it didn't end good. I had breakfast and all of my friends called or texted me wishing happy birthday.

I was happy bjut something deep inside me was wrong. I didn't expect him to wish me happy birthday but...Perhaps he had forgotten it..

Or maybe not?
