Niki lives the dream

Cheerleaders

After school, I returned home and did my homework. I wasn't tired, so I socialised on facebook. Mike was online and he started talking to me.

"Hey there"

"Hi"

"Did you get home safe?"

"Lol, Mike, why, am I in danger?"

"I just care about you"

"Thank you. Yeah, I'm totally safe. Don't worry"

"Good. Have you finished the homework?"

"Yeah, you"

"Same"

"Ok"

"I'm sorry, I'm annoying"

"It's okay. I just need some rest. I got a headache. See you tomorrow"

I went offline and slept for a couple of hours, before having dinner. I had a hot bath and then read a book.

The next day I went to school again. The lessons were boring. At the break, a girl talked to me

"Hey, are you Niki Brooks?"

"Yeah, why?"

"The cheerleaders have their first training today. Be at the gym in 5'"

"Okay, thank you"

I went to the gym and coach Collins chose the girls who would make it to be in the team. She chose me immediately because last year she was really impressed. And I was happy about that.

After a hard training, mrs. Collins gave me my cheerleader outfit. It was really nice, white and blue.

As I was walking home, Mike appeared 

"I'm in the football team!" he said smiling

"Really? Congratulations!!"

"Thank you! Are you ok? you seem tired"

"Yeah, I just did a try out for the cheerleaders"

"And?"

"I'm officially a cheerleader for our school"

"That's great! You gonna cheer for me! I mean, for the school team"

"Yeah, nice right?"

"Cool"

"OK, I have to go. I'm tired. Gosh, so much homework. I really have to go"

"Okay, it was nice we talked. See you"

"Bye"

And I went home, falling exhausted on my bed.
