I hadn't talked with Justin for a month.

Well. I hadn't called him, and he didn't seem he wanted to contact with me. I could understand him.

School starts tomorrow and I'm glad for that. It will  attracts my attention all the time and I won't  have time to think about anything except homework.

(the next day)

I woke up, got ready and caught the bus to go to school. I hurried to my locker and got my books for the first class, Maths.

I went to the classroom, but all the seats were taken except one, so I sat there. But the problem was that Mike was seating beside me.

"Hey.."

"Hey" I replied regularly, smiling a bit

"W-wait..aren't you..mad at me?"

"No.."

"Okay then. So..how you're doing"

"Good. You?" I said as I was looking in my folders

"Fine, I guess."

The teacher arrived in so we stopped talking and we focused on him.

After he introduced himself, he started writing on the board and we just took notes. It was really boring. As I was writing on my books, Mike just passed me one note

"I'm sorry. But I just like you, and I know you may don't care, or may you're heartbroken and not ready for a new relationship. But I needed to tell you."

I just thought it was a tiny bit pathetic but I just looked at him, and he was just slowly writing on his books.

"Thank you. It means a lot. Perhaps one day.." I wrote and handed it back

I just continued paying attention to the lesson and when it finished, I grabbed my stuff and left the room.

The day continued with History, English, Biology and Geography.

At the end of the last class, I saw something on the notice board.

"Cheerleaders"

I smiled. I had been a member of the cheerleaders for 3 years. So i joined again.

I was feeling lonely.  All of my classmates and friends talked to me but just for some seconds. But I preferred it. Better alone than having many people around me.

I guess this year's gonna be different.
