Just live the moment.

After 4 days of our sudden meet with Justin at Starbucks, it was Kelsea’s party.

I had already bought an outfit, so at 8 pm I started getting ready. I had a bath, wrapped a soft towel around me and I began drying my hair. Then I straightened it and after that I curled some parts.

I got my make up ready and wore my dress. I looked myself at the mirror. I was fine.

Some moments later, I was at Kelsea’s house. And I was amazed.

The backyard had turned into a magical garden. The trees were covered with lights and tiny purple flowers. A huge table with drinks and snacks was against the wall, and in the middle of the yard there was a stage with stereos and speakers.

“Hey!” Kelsea greeted me.

“Wow, everything’s perfect!”

“Thank you!”

We started walking together among the guests, talking and sharing news.

Justin obviously hadn’t come because nobody had seen him.

I went to get myself a drink, and a familiar guy came closer.

“Hey” he smiled

“Mike!” I shouted, smiling wide, giving him a hug

“Where have you been?”

“You know. I was in Ohio the past years. Now we’ve come back”

“YOU MOVED HERE?”

“Yes” he confirmed, smiling again

Mikeand I were in the same classroom since first grade. The past 4 years he had gone because his dad had applied for a job there. 

“You’ve changed a lot” I commented

“You too”

“Now you’re so much taller than me, it’s unfair, once we’re at the same age”

“I turned sixteen last month”

“Oh, and now, you’re the big boy over here huh?”

“I guess” he said laughing.

“So..what has happened all this time I wasn’t here?”

“Nothing really.”

“Any boys appeared in your life? I mean you know, do you have a boyfriend?”

“Um” I told him, looking at something else except him. Gosh. He was so different! He seemed so well built. His hair had a chocolate brown colour and his eyes were green.

“You broke up?”

“Yeah..”

“How much time are you single then?”

“It’s not even a week” I told him drinking a sip of my softdrink.

“Oh. You don’t seem really broken”

“I just don’t show it”

“Okay. Is he here now?” he said turning to look all the people were present

“Well he’s invited to come but I haven’t seen him yet”

“What about you?” I said

“I had a girlfriend but it didn’t work”

“Oh, why?”

“She was an ungrateful bitch”

I was looking at him in shock
