Celia:
Axel wasn't in school the following day. I assumed he was with Andrew, being that the perverted friend was also MIA. School was... more unbearable... without Axel there. Gathering my lunch, I started towards the library. It'd been almost three weeks that Axel made me eat in the cafeteria. So when he wasn't here, I was jumping at the opportunity not to eat in that dreaded place. The hallways that were normally vacant, were alive with the sound of hushed voices and the clicking of heels.
Great. Just what I needed.
Quickening my pace, I cheered in silent victory when the library doors came into view.
"Celine!" A high pitch voice called to me.
I gritted my teeth in resentment.
Celia. My name is Celia!
Forcing a polite smile onto my face, I turned to meet the faces of Chelsea, Sidney, Alli, and Rosa.
Somewhere way, way, way down deep inside, I'm sure they were nice people. Unfortunately the last few encounters I'd had with the crew, ended in me doing their AP Bio homework. To this day, I wonder how they got into that class...
"Chelsea." I nodded, hoping to thwart her efforts of cornering me.
It was almost sad. They were all beautiful, but for some reason they all let their reputations become less than that of a wadded up piece of paper in a trashcan. Now hiding behind crop tops and four layers of powders and bases were four girls I grew up with. Kind of tragic.
"I was actually wanting to talk to you about something." Chelsea said with a smile.
Damn. I should've fled while I had the chance.
"Um. Okay." I said hesitantly.
"So," She began, "I noticed that you and Axel are getting closer." The rest of the girls nodded and made a sound of agreement. "I know him well enough now that, well, I know you aren't exactly his type."
Bitchy much?
Physically biting down on my tongue, I stared at her. Is she going to finish speaking?
I cleared my throat and gestured for her to continue.
"Oh!" She flipped a piece of hair over her shoulder, "Anyways, I was wondering if you could tell him there's going to be a party at my house this Friday. I really wanted him to show up. So we could catch up, if you know what I mean." She smiled and raised a thin eyebrow.
Lord give me the strength not to hit this fake-
I took in a deep breath, "Sure thing Charlotte." Quickly I turned away and headed towards the doors.
Just before I had made it to the safety of the library I heard her voice say. "Its Chelsea!"

The day and night had went by without any word from Axel. It was strange not to hear from him over a period of 24 hours, but there was no way I would be the one to text him. When I got home, I had picked apart the dinner mom had made to impress Aaron. My appetite had faded when I had sat down. The looks Sarah and Aaron had been giving me were now being thrown by my mom too. Needless to say, I ended up in my room by 7:30.
The added perk of Thanksgiving, to most, was the three days out of school. Maybe I'd be grateful, but that meant extra time to be around my family. On the bright side, Axel had decided to show up to school today. I met him by his locker, a smile gracing my face.
