Chapter 55

VIOLETTAS POV

I am actually getting used to my life here. The isn't much drama and Leon's mom still hasn't recognized me. It's true that seeing Leon everyday isn't the best for me but it has it's pros!

"Violetta, it's time for you to go change Master Leon's bedsheet" I hear the head maid scream.

I grab bedsheets and head to his room. As I enter I realize that he's not here. Good.... Whenever I come and he's in here it just gets so awkward!

I walk towards the bed and start changing the bedsheets. I am so concentrated on making the bed that I don't hear Leon walk in.

I suddenly feel a hand on my shoulder, I jump startled and fall onto the bed... Leon laying on top of me.

Our faces are only centimeters apart when we hear the door fly open with a loud BOOM.

{A Couple Minutes Earlier}

LEONS MOM POV

That new maid... For some reason she seems suspicious. I feel like I've seen her somewhere her voice is familiar.

Now that I think about it, she's very familiar to that girl.

VIOLETTAS POV

Startled I quickly get up and run out the door not realizing who the person who opened the door was.

I quickly run back to my room, my heart rate is through the roof. I try to calm myself down by drinking some water.

I walk downstairs to the maid quarters. "Violetta the head mistress wants to see you in her office" I look at the head maid in shock. "W-what did you just say... She wants to talk to ME" She looks at me confused.

Of course she wouldn't understand my situation. I can feel cold sweat forming on my forehead. I manage to get up from the chair I was sitting on and slowly walk to the head mistresses office.

I knock on the door before hearing her say "Come In" in a calm yet terrifying voice. I opened the door, not knowing what was awaiting me.

I try the best I can to hide my face with my hair, but it doesn't really work out. "No need to hide dear, I know who you are" I hear her say in a malicious tone.

I look up at her with fear in my eyes, she looks up and smirks at me. "You really thought I would let you steal my son by infiltrating my house" she says looking at me sternly. I look down not knowing what to respond.

She smirks once again, that always means something will happen soon. "I heard about your mom" she simply says. I look at her with confused eyes.

"You found a nice hospital for her didn't you" she pauses for a second. "We wouldn't want her to be kicked out would we" she says looking me straight in the eyes with a threatening look.

"What do you want" I ask, if I can make a deal with her to safe my moms live... I would even go to hell and back.

It was a stupid idea for me to come, I thought my love for Leon could conquer anything, but I guess I was wrong. My mom is more important to me and I didn't know his mom was that powerful and vicious.

"How about we make a deal..."
His mom says smiling at me with evil in her eyes...
