Chapter 42

VIOLETTAS POV

Before I can react I feel a hand take my hand and pull me around hugging me. I can guess it's Fede because he was the only one with me. I turn around to see its not Fede, I stare at him confused. Fede probably left because he's not around.

I look over the guys shoulder, to see Leon looking surprised but mad at the same time. Im pulled out of my thoughts by Lara.

"Oh, Violetta is that the guy you were meeting in Rome" she asks joyfully, I look at Leon who looks down. "Y-yeah" I say unsure.

The guy then puts an arm around my shoulder. "Yeah she's mine" he says smiling at me, while I look at him surprised.

There an awkward silence which is broken by the new guy. "My name is Thomas by the way" he says putting his hand out for Leon to shake, but Leon just smirks and walks away.

Looks like he's gone back to his old self, the cold, mean and heartless Leon. The Leon I fell in love with is now gone and I don't think he will come back...

I realize I'm still standing, and that Thomas is looking worriedly at me. "Are you okay Violetta" he asks looking concerned, "Yeah I'm fine" I answer weekly smiling, he smiles.

"Ok, would you like to eat somewhere with me" he asks, I look at him unsure at first, but I have nothing better to do so I might as well go with him. "Sure" I answer as he takes my hand and pulls me down the stairs and outside of school into the streets.

We have a great time, Thomas is actually a really nice guy he's the first guy that made me forget about Leon for a little while.

"I know this great place where we will have a beautiful view on the sun set, would you like to go" Thomas asks me, "Sure" I answer joyfully. "Ok let's go" he says once again grabbing my hand.

"It's so pretty here" I say looking around at the beautiful view. "I know right" Thomas says looking out into the horizon. "Would you like a coffee" he asks me, "Sure" I answer, "Ok wait here a second" he says running off into the cafe.

I was enjoying the view when I hear a familiar voice behind me, I turn around to come face to face with Lara and Leon.

"Hey Violetta" Lara says in her usual happy tone, Leon just looks down and doesn't say a word.

At that moment Thomas comes back. "Oh hey everyone" he says handing me a drink, I take it thanking him.

Leon looks up with an angry look. "Is this your new boyfriend" he asks smirking.

"No" I answer, as I look over at Thomas who looks a bit hurt. I feel bad and try to fix my mistake immediately "Well, I mean kind of I guess" I answer unsure, as Thomas looks up smiling at me.

"Well you guys look good together" Lara says winking at me, "Yeah totally" Leon says sarcastically, Is he jealous?!

I thought he didn't love me and was just using me, but apparently not. He apparently didn't dislike me as much as he wanted it to seem like.

"I just had the best idea" Lara says jumping up shrieking, "What is it" we all ask, "How about we go on a trip all together" she asks joyfully.

I look at Leon astonished, he too looks pretty surprised, I would really love to go on trip, but not with Thomas.... but Leon....
