Chapter 62

"Who are you? What the hell are you doing right now?" he says while giving me weird look.

He doesn't remember...

The boys and I look at him in disbelief, I can feel my eyes welling up with tears. "S-sorry", those are the only words I am able to quickly mumble out. I wipe away my tears with a quick movement, turn around and speed walk away.

I just couldn't believe it, those memories that counted so much to me apparently meant nothing to Leon... Did this ice cream memory really not trigger anything? I sit on a bench in one of the hospital's hallway, I blankly stare into space...

"NO" I shout as I get up, "I can't let this get to me, I have to overcome it, I'm the only one who can get Leon back to his original self", I say to myself. I WILL GET MY MAN BACK!

{That Evening, Leon's POV}

"I'm here!" Gery exclaims gleefully as she opens the door of my hospital room. "And I brought you lunch!!" She says showing me a lunch bag. I smile at her. 

She settles down beside me on the bed and opens the lunch box. I frown, "Gery are you sure you made this, it looks totally different from the last time", "W-what, no I DEFINITELY made this, Leon you are such a jockster". "Alright" I simply respond. I taste the food, and once again frown, I look at her with a raised eyebrow... "Are you sure? Did you by any chance, buy this food? It taste way different from the last one YOU made me". She giggles, "Oh Leon, you are too good, how did you ever figure out that I did in fact buy this lunch box?" We both laugh...

After eating we decided to take a stroll in the park behind the hospital. We both take seat on a nearby bench, "Look at the stars Leon, aren't they so beautiful?". What is this familiar feeling? I somehow feel I've been through this before, I can see a girl, although I can't see her face. 

Gery touches my arm, "Leon? Are you ok?" I snap out of my thoughts and look at her smiling, "Yeah I'm fine, I just feel like I've forgotten something important. But I can't remember. I t feels like my chest is going to bust in frustration" I shake it off and smile "Let's go back in, I wouldn't want you to catch a cold" I say as I take her hand and slowly lead her back to the hospital. 

On the way back we meet Fede, he comes up to me with frowned eyebrows, "Do you still not remember?" He says as he looks down at me and Gery's hands. "What is it I'm supposed to remember?"I ask. "Violetta. Do you really not remember", he says. " You keep going on about this Violetta, why do I have to remember this girl?" I say, he looks stunned. 

"Come on Gery, let's go" I say as I pull her towards the hospital. If I don't remember her, I'm guessing she really wasn't all that important. I shrug and smile at Gery.

{The Following Morning, Leon's POV}

I wake up with the sun in my eyes, "Good Morning" Gery exclaims, "How are you feeling?". "Gery, I remember the thing I forgot - It was you, right?" Her eyes widen and shake, she looks at me confused but suddenly smiles. "Y-yes, it's me, you finally remember" she gleefully says as she jumps on the bed to give me a hug. I'm so glad to have put the pieces together. 

{Violetta's POV}

I haven't given up on Leon, yet, so I decided to prepare him breakfast! I walk to his room and slightly open the door to hear the following. "Gery, I remember the thing I forgot - It was you, right?". "Y-yes, it's me, you finally remember". 

What?! How dare she act like me? I feel a ball anger in my stomach, I just can't believe this girl. I turn around and decide to walk away, if I walk in now Leon will be hostile towards me since I would interrupt their moment. I will wait until he is alone to talk to him...

I walk around the hospital a bit and meet up with the boys. "Hey guys!" I say putting on a smile, "Hey, how are you?" asks Fede, "I'm trying to make things work" I exclaim slightly laughing. He looks at me with a sad smile, "I'm really sorry, it's all my fault, if only I..." I cut him off, "Not at all, Leon is the stupid one for not remembering an awesome girl like me" I say smiling. 

"Well I'm off", I say, "I think that leech, Gery, has finally left Leon alone, so I'm gonna try and talk to him" I say as I start to walk off, "Alright, see you later". 

I walk to the rooftop and I was right, Leon is alone there. Maybe the ice cream memory wasn't significant enough, maybe I need a more powerful memory. I hold the necklace around my neck, I undo the backing and take it off. I squeeze it into my hand, "Violetta, you can do this!!".

I confidently walk over to Leon, I dangle the necklace between his eyes, he looks surprised "You again!" he says in a repulsed manner. He turns around tries to leave but I hold him back. "Do you really not remember this? Please tell me you do..." 

He opens his eyes widely and says "OH, this necklace that's..."

I will try to update weekly, if I'm not too busy with school.
