Chapter 39

VIOLETTAS POV

Me and the guys were getting ready for the party, the guys said it was ok for me to go with them since it said everyone on the card.

I come out of the bathroom and they all gasp at me, "Violetta you look beautiful" Fede says, I smile at him. "Thanks" I say looking at my outfit one last time in the mirror. {ιи мє∂ια}

"Shall we go" Broduey says, "We shall" all of us answer at the same time as we giggle.

When we get there, their are a lot of photographers flashing their cameras everywhere. The guys take my arm and drag me inside.

When we get inside I see Leon and his mother greeting all the guests so I look down, I look up for a second which is enough for Me and Leons eyes to cross, he looks surprised.

LEONS POV

Our eyes cross, how did she get invited I remember invited the guys but not her. My mom nudges me and I start greeting the guests infront of me, when Violetta and the guys are infront of me my mom smirks.

She has something planned for this evening and that's why she invited Violetta, it's probably about the big announcement she wanted to make, I wonder what it is now....

We all enter the dining room and sit down at our designated tables, my mom signals me to go on stage with her.

"Today we have a big announcement, my son Leon is engaged." EveryOne one gasps and so do. I see Violetta in Fedes arms crying, I wish I could run of stage to hug her but, that's the worst thing I could do for her well being.

I try to smile, but my lips just won't respond. I just kinda stand there lifelessly while everyone applauses.

"The lucky girls name is Lara, the heiress to Hotel 5" I gasps, that's like a million dollar company. I look at my mom who is smirking looking at Violetta crying.

So that's why she invited, to make her suffer, suddenly I feel two arms wrap around my neck, I turn to see Lara. Without a warning she leans in and kisses me.

I can see from the corner of my eye that Violetta runs out, maybe it's better this way now she won't have to suffer because of me.

VIOLETTAS POV

Without thinking I run out, so many questions rush to my mind. Did he only invite me here to show off his fiancé? Was he trying to hurt? Why would he act like he liked me? Why would do this to me?

My thoughts get cut off by someone hugging me, I don't even look to see who it is and hug back. I just can't keep in my tears anymore they flow out like a waterfall.

If he was going to hurt me like this why would he do all the things he did for me, I separate from the hug and see that it was Fede, I look around my neck to see the necklace Leon have to me.

I remember that time on the balcony at the ski hill, also the time we got locked in for a whole night, as I go down memory lane I start crying again as Fede hugs me. All the sweet things he said, it felt like it was just yesterday, why would he do all this just to hurt me, the person he's supposed to love?.....
