Chapter 57

I must find her, I think with excitement. Even if I have to travel to the end of the world I will find her and be with her for the rest of my life. Even of she rejects me I don't care, I will follow her until the end of her life, I will beg her for forgiveness, I will convince my mom to let me marry her. I will never leave her alone again or deceive her.

I walk downstairs to find my sister having a snack. "Where is Violetta" I ask with insistence. She looks at me a bit freaked out, and then smirks. "Oh Leon, I though you forgot about her, I guess not huh". I roll my eyes at her, "Don't take everything I say seriously" I say with a sassy voice. "Oh dam so sassy lil' bro". "Fine, if your going to be like that then I won't ask for your help".

I walk back upstairs and grab my phone. "Hey, I'd like you to find out something for me". I say in a serious voice. "What would that be?, young master". "Find out where a girl named Violetta Castillo is, I'll give you anything"

I waited a very long a time. I thought I was going to go crazy from waiting for an answer from the private detective. Violetta, Where could you be? Why did you leave? Did you not love me? Was I blinded by an act?

No, Violetta is not the kind of person to do that. She was kind hearted and did not hurt people's feelings like that. She was a nice girl that would do anything for the people she loved.

Hours, Days, months, passed by with no news of her, I almost went crazy. Whenever my phone rang I ran to it only to be disappointed by the caller ID. I thought I would never find her...

Finally one day, my phone rang as usual I ran right away and this time, I almost cried when I saw the caller ID. "Private detective" is what it read. I answered with no hesitation.

"What took you so long" I say in an angry tone. "Sorry young master, it's just that the girl hid herself well. It took a long tim-" I cut him off, I don't care, did you find out what I asked you". "Of course I did" he says before pausing. "And so" I say waiting for her location.

"She has moved to a small island" he says before pausing. "She is there with her mom and she works at a small restaurant, they live in a small apartment by the ocean."

"Alright thank you so much". I hung up, I could not stop myself from smiling. Finally, I get to see her again. I call Fede right away. "Fede we're going on a trip"

"Fede I am so excited omg" "Leon we're almost there come down". We have been on the airplane for 4 hours, I am about to go crazy with excitement of seeing her again. I missed her so much. All I thought about was her. The only person that could make me happy was her. I only cared about her. I don't want to be a mama's boy anymore, I will live for myself and be with who I want to be with.

I look down at the piece of paper where her address is written. "Yo Leon, its getting dark, should we not find a hotel and find Violetta tomorrow?" "No! I must see her now, Fede you don't understand how long I have waited for this moment. Come it's this way" I say pointing to the street on our left.

We walk around for about 20 minutes, before finding the street name her house is on. It was dark and I could not see very well. Fede starts to cross the street squinting his eyes.

"Hey Leon is that not Viole-"

"Fede watch out!" I scream as I push him out of the way.

Darkness, all I see is black...
