Chapter 53

I stand there thinking, "you changed him once and I believe you could change him again, he was finally changing and becoming a better person" she says looking at me a bit desperate.

I sign, I was about to say yes as I think back to Leons Mom, she'll make my mom get out of the hospital if I say yes.

"I can't" I say, she looks at me with a frown. "Why?" She asks. I look down. "Your mom, she threatened me" she looks down with an angry glare.

"I'll make sure she doesn't realize that your the new maid.. Will you stay then?" she asks full of hope.

I think for a second, "Ok but, as soon as she calls me again or she realizes it me in leaving right away" I say she looks at me as a big smile forms on her face.

"I'm so happy!!" She says as she hugs me, "come, I'll show you your room" she takes my hand and starts dragging me around the mansion.

I was the most afraid to bump into Leon. He'd would get so mad... But, I need to stay here I have nowhere else to go for the moment. And I need to think of my mom's treatment cost, at least now I have a good paying job.

"Here it is" she says joyfully as she opens the room to reveal a big, very big room. "This is a maid bedroom" I say surprised at its size. "Yeah mine is about 5 times bigger" she says as if it was just the usual thing.

{a coupe of days later}

I've been doing well in Leons household, with the help of his sister I'm able to avoid him. I make sure to only go in his room to clean when he's not present. His mom hasn't realized anything yet.

"So Violetta how are you doing" one of the many maids ask with a smile. "Great thanks" "You get to work with Master Leon right" she says with a shy smile. I awkwardly smile. "Yeah..." All the maids run over to us and start talking at the same time. "Isn't he so handsome and good looking" one says. "Sure" I answer a bit unsure.

"You're so lucky" well this is awkward. "I... Have to go" I say grabbing bed sheets and running to Leons room. He shouldn't be in his room right now.

Or so I thought...

"Hello there" I hear his voice say behind my back. I jump in shock quickly try to open the door. "I'm sorry" he says pushing the door closed. "I didn't mean to scare you" he says I try to hide my face as much as possible.

"It's ok" I say taking a few steps backwards, away from him. "I'll be leaving now" I say. I walk forward but accidentally trip on the bedsheets. I feel myself falling backwards.

He catches me right on time, as always.

"VIOLETTA" he screams surprised.
