"We must hold to his course west of the misty Mountains for forty days. If our luck holds, the Gap of Rohan will still be open to us. From there, our road turns east, to Mordor." Gandalf said as they rode out.
"Get away from the blade, Pippin...on your toes...good, very good...I want you to react, not think."Boromir said as he trained Pippin.
"Should not be too hard..." Sam said.
"Move your feet." Boromir told Pippin
"Quite good, Pippin." Merry said.
"Thanks." Pippin told Merry.
"If anyone were to ask for my opinion, which I note they have not, I would say we are taking the long way round. Gandalf, we can pass through the Mines of Moria. My cousin, Balin, would give us a royal welcome." Gimli said.
"No, Gimli. I would not take the road through Moria unless I had no other choice." Gandalf told Gimli.
"What is that?" Sam said as he saw something in the distance.
"Nothing...it's just a wisp of a cloud." Gimli told Sam.
"It's moving fast...against the wind." Boromir said worried.
"Crebain from Dunland!" Legolas yelled as Tereza looked out.
"Hide!"Tereza yelled as Aragorn got ready to.
"Merry..Pippin...Sam...take cover!" Boromir yelled.
"Spies of Saruman. The passage South is being watched. We must take the pass of Caradhras!" Gandalf said as they all got up.
"Boromir?"Aragorn asked as Frodo fell back.
"It is a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing...such a little thing." Boromir said as he looked at the ring.
"Boromir...give the ring to Frodo." Tereza said as Aragorn put his hand on his sword.
"As you wish. I care not." Boromir said as they walked.
"There is a fell voice in the air." Legolas said as they walked on the mountain.
"It's Saruman." Gandalf said as rock started to fall.
"He's trying to bring down the mountain. Gandalf! We must turn back"Aragorn yelled.
"No!" Gandalf said as he raised his staff. "Losto Caradhras, sedho, hodo, nuitho I ruith. (Sleep Caradhras, be still, lie still, hold your wrath.)"
Tereza jumped as snow started to fall. She pulled Pippin to her as the snow hit them. Aragorn dug his way out of the snow as everyone else did.
"Tereza! Pippin!" Legolas yelled as he looked around.
"We're here!" she yelled as she pulled Pippin out of the snow.
"We must get off the mountain! Make for the gap of Rohan and take the West road to my city" Boromir said.
"The Gap of Rohan takes us too close to Isengard." Aragorn yelled.
"We cannot pass over the mountain. Let us go under it. Let us go through the mines of Moria." Gimli suggested.
"Let the ringbearer decide." Gandalf said as they all looked at Frodo."Frodo?"
"We will go through the mines." Frodo said.
"So be it." Gandalf nodded and they all went to get off the mountain.
