"I feel like I'm back at the Green Dragon, after a hard days work." Pippin yelled.
Tereza jumped off the horse she was on and ran ahead as she heard Pippin talk.
"Tereza!" Aragorn yelled as the others followed her.
"Only, you've never done a hard days work. Welcome, my Lords, to Isengard." Merry said as he saw them. "And Elven maid."
"You young rascals! A merry hunt you've led us on, and now we find you feasting and smoking." Gimli said as he saw the hobbits.
"We are sitting on a field of victory, enjoying a few well-earned comforts. The salted pork is particularly good." Pippin said with his mouth full.
"Salted pork?" Gimli asked.
"Hobbits!" Gandalf said as Tereza looked around.
"We're under orders from Treebeard, who's taken over management of Isengard." Merry said as Tereza looked at him, confused.
"Huraroom ... Young Master Gandalf, I'm glad you've come. Wood and water, stock and , stone I can master, but there's a wizard to be managed here ... Locked in his tower." Treebeard said.
"And there Saruman must remain, under your guard, Treebeard." Gandalf told him.
"Let's just have his head and be done with it." Gimli suggested.
"No. He has no power any more." Gandalf told Gimli.
"The filth of Saruman is washing away ... Trees will come back to live here, young trees . . . wild trees." Treebeard said.
"Peregrin Took! I'll take that, my lad!" Gandalf said as they rode away.
"Oh, you can search - up and down As many lands as can be found But you'll never find a beer so brown As the one we drink in our home town You can keep your fancy ales You can drink them by the flagon But the only brew, for the brave and true, Comes from the Green Dragon!" Merry and Pippin sang later that night as the soldiers of Rohan rested.
"No news of Frodo?" Aragorn asked Gandalf.
"No word ... nothing." Gandalf said.
"We till have time. Every day Frodo moves closer to Mordor." Aragorn replied.
"Do we know that?" Gandalf asked.
"What does your heart tell you?" Aragorn asked the wizard.
"That Frodo is alive. Yes - yes, he is alive." Gandalf said quietly.
Tereza got ready to say something as she felt a little tug at her sleeve. She looked at Pippin as he got ready to speak.
"Tereza?" he asked as she looked at him. "Are you alright, lass?"
"Yes, Pippin." she answered.
The hobbit looked at her before he walked away. She sat there and looked around as she bit her lip. She looked at the bracelet Boromir gave her before he died and let a tear fall.
"Tereza?" Merry asked as he walked to her.
"I'm fine." she said as she saw Pippin walking back over.
"You're not lass." Pippin said as he looked at her.
"It's nothing." Tereza said as she walked away.
Tereza walked outside as the sun was just starting to rise the next day. She saw Legolas and Aragorn talking and watched from a distance.
"The stars are veiled, something stirs in the east . . . A sleepless malice. The eye of the enemy is moving." Legolas said as she watched. "He is here."
"Help! Someone help him!" Merry yelled as Aragorn went to respond.
Tereza ran into the room as Merry finished yelling. She went to go over to Pippin as she saw Aragorn was there. She watched as Aragorn took what Pippin was holding. She ran over to Pippin as he looked at the floor.
"Fool of a Took!" Gandalf yelled at him.
"Pippin!" Merry yelled as he went to his friend.
"Gandalf! Forgive me." Pippin said.
"Look at me! What did you see?" Gandalf asked the scarred hobbit.
"A tree ... There was a white tree ... in a courtyard of stone ... It was dead! The city was burning ..." Pippin said.
"Minas Tirith??? Is that what you saw?" Gandalf asked as Tereza kneeled down.
"I saw . . . I saw him . . . I could hear his voice in my head." Pippin said.
"And what did you tell him? Speak!" Gandalf yelled at the hobbit.
"He asked me my name, I didn't answer... he hurt me..."Pippin said as Tereza wrapped him in her arms.
"What did you tell him about Frodo and the Ring?" Gandalf asked him.
"Tell me. Why should we ride to the aid of those who did not come to ours?" Tereza heard someone ask as she walked into the room later.
"I will go." Aragorn said.
"No!" Gandalf looked at him.
"They must be warned." Aragorn said as he looked at Gandalf.
"They will be. You must come to Minas Tirith by another road. Follow the river, look to the black ships." Gandalf said to Aragorn quietly. "Understand this... things are now in motion that cannot be undone. I ride for Minas Tirith! And I won't be going alone !"
"Merry!" Tereza heard Pippin yell as she watched the horse leave.
"You'll see him soon." Tereza said as Merry looked at her and they left the spot.
