They walked through the forest as the sky was overcast. Tezera gripped her bow as she heard the hobbits talking amongst themselves.
"Where are you taking us?" Frodo asked as they walked.
"Into the wild." Strider said as he walked ahead of them.
"How do, we know this Strider is a friend of Gandalf?" Merry asked Frodo in a whisper. "The girl too?"
"We have no choice but to trust them." Frodo replied.
"But where is he leading us?" Sam asked as he looked at the two Rangers.
Strider stopped and looked back at Sam. "To Rivendell, Master Gamgee...to the house of Elrond."He walked ahead once more.
"Did you hear that, Bill? Rivendell! We're going to see the Elves!" Sam said to the pony he was leading.
Tereza ran ahead and jumped on a rock. She looked back at the hobbits as she heard the sound of their packs hitting the dirt.
"Gentlemen, we do not stop until nightfall." Strider told the hobbits.
"What about breakfast?"Pippin asked them both.
"You've already had it." Tereza said.
"We've had one, yes...but what about Second Breakfast?"Pippin said as the two Rangers stared at them blankly. They both turned away and Strider shook his head.
"I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip."Merry told him.
"What about Elevenses, Luncheon, Afternoon Tea, dinner...he knows about them, doesn't he?" Pippin asked Merry.
"I wouldn't count on it." Merry said as he walked ahead.
Tereza jumped as she saw an apple was thrown at Merry, who caught it. She laughed as another one hit Pippin.
"Pippin!" Merry said.
"This was once the great Watchtower of Amon Sul. We shall rest here tonight." Strider said as they stopped walking. "These are for you. Keep them close. I'm going to have a look around. Stay here." He walked away from the hobbits.
"What are you doing?" Frodo asked as he sat up.
"Tomatoes, sausages, and crispy bacon." Merry informed him.
"We saved some for you, Mr. Frodo." Sam held some out to Frodo.
"Put it out, you fools! Put it out!" Frodo yelled.
"Oh, that's nice...ash on my tomatoes!" Pippin said as they heard a shriek.
"Go!" Frodo yelled as they saw the ringwraiths.
"Back, you devils!" Sam ran forward with a cry.
"Frodo!" Tereza yelled as she pulled her bow out and shot at the ringwraiths. Two of the ringwraiths looked at her while the other three moved toward Frodo. "No!" She saw Strider out of the corner of her eye as she released another arrow.
"Mr. Frodo!!" Sam said as Strider kneeled before Frodo. "Help him, Strider!"
"He's been stabbed by a Morgul blade." Strider said as Tereza bit her lip.
"Do something." Sam said as he looked at Tereza
"This is beyond my skill to heal. He needs Elvish medicine."Strider said as he picked up Frodo.
"Hurry!"Tereza yelled as she looked at the hobbits following them.
"We are six days from Rivendell." Sam said as Frodo groaned.
"Hold on, Frodo." Tereza said as they ran.
"He'll never make it!"Sam yelled.
"Gandalf...Gandalf?" Frodo said.
"Is he going to die?" Pippin asked, worried.
"No. He is passing into the shadow world, he will soon become a wraith like them." Strider answered Pippin.
"They're close." Merry said as Frodo gasped.
"Sam, do you know the Athelas plant?" Strider looked at Sam.
"Athelas?" Sam asked.
"Kingsfoil." Tereza said.
"Kingsfoil. Aye. It's a weed." Sam looked at her.
"It may help to slow the poison. Hurry!" Strider said as they ran off.
"What is this? A Ranger caught off his guard?" someone said as Tereza looked up and moved away from Frodo. "Frodo, Im Arwen...telin let thaed. (I am Arwen, I have come here to help you) Lasto Beth nin, tolo Dan na ngalad. (Hear my voice, come back to the light)."
"Who is she?"Pippin asked as he watched.
"Frodo?" Arwen looked at Frodo.
"She's an elf." Sam answered Pippin.
Tereza ran ahead as Strider talked to Arwen and kept a look out. She ran back after she saw Arwen's horse run past her.
"What are you doing?! Those Wraiths are still out there!" Sam yelled as Tereza ran back to the others.
"The right thing." Tereza said as they started to walk again.
