"King Theoden awaits you, my Lord." a guard said as he went in Aragorn's tent. "The girl too"
They both nodded and made their way to Theoden's tent. Aragorn went in with Tereza right behind him.
"I take my leave." the king said as he went out of the tent.
"My Lord, Elrond." Aragorn said as the hooded figure took off hood and the other two bowed.
"I come on behalf of one whom I love. Arwen is dying." Elrond said as Tereza looked at Aragorn.
"She stayed?" Aragorn asked.
"She will not long survive the evil that now spreads from Mordor. The light of the Evenstar is failing. As Sauron's power grows, her strength wanes. Arwen's life is now tied to the fate of the Ring. The Shadow is upon us, Aragorn, the end has come." Elrond said as he looked at Aragorn and then Tereza. "Tereza, wait outside please."
Tereza nodded as she walked out of the tent and played with her dagger. She watched the people as they passed. Merry looked at her as he walked to her. She looked at the tent as she heard somebody open it. Aragorn looked at her as he walked out.
"Tereza..." Aragorn said as he walked to her. "Come."
Tereza stood up and followed him back into the tent. She bowed as she entered the tent.
"Tereza, you have a choice to make. Just like the rest of your family has." Elrond said. He held up his hand as Tereza got ready to speak. "Please do not interrupt me. As I was saying, you can choose between a mortal life and an immortal life."
Tereza looked at Aragorn as she listened to her grandfather and tried to process it. Aragorn looked at her and then back at Elrond.
"Tereza, what I'm telling you is you have always made me proud." Elrond said as she looked at Aragorn.
"You told him?" Tereza asked with tears in her eyes.
"I had to. It was best for you." Aragorn said as she went to run out of the tent. "Tereza, please understand."
"He's not my father." she looked at them with tears in her eyes.
"I know." Aragorn told her.
"Tereza." Elrond said as she went to run away. "You must understand." He placed a hand on her arm with a firm grasp.
"Why?" she asked as she saw another figure walk in the tent. "What will it help? The past is the past, and we can't change it."
Tereza tried to keep the tears back as she looked at her grandfather. He let her arm go and she went to leave the tent once more. She felt another person grab her arm as she went to leave. She looked at the person as they looked at her.
"Ada?" she asked as she got a good look at the person. "It can't be."
"It is." Elladan said as he let go of her arm.
Tereza hugged him as she let tears fall from her eyes. He hugged her as the other two looked at them.
"I'm sorry." Tereza said as she let him go.
"Why?" Elladan asked as he looked at her. "You have made me proud."
Tereza smiled as she felt Aragorn place his hand on her shoulder.
"You have to rest." he said as she looked at him. "You have a long journey ahead of you."
"Where am I going?" she asked as she got ready to leave the tent.
"Rivendell." Aragorn said as she walked out of the tent. He watched as she ran toward her tent.
