Chapter 9

---ALLY'S POV---

We stayed at Jaycee's house for about an hour and a half after Keith got there and then went home because Jaycee and Keith were getting very touchy feely and it was pretty obvious they wanted to be alone. We invited everyone to go with us to the carnival tomorrow and they accepted. Cj's mom had to work until 5 so we gave her a ride home before heading to our house. The whole car ride Danny had his hand on my leg and he kept looking at me and smiling. Everytime we made eye contact I would get goosebumps and my heart would start beating faster. We arrived at my house and Danny practically pulled me out of the car. We ran up the stairs and into my room.

/I hope he knows I'm not planning on having sex with him..I mean I'll make-out and stuff, but that's it../

"Ally, are you okay? You look terrified.." Danny asked

"Umm yeah, I'm fine, it's just.." I trailed off.

"Just what?" He asked, "Do you not wanna do this? We don't have to if you don't want to, I don't wanna make you do anything you don't want to." He added.

"Umm yeah, I, I don't really want to.. I'm sorry.." I said nervously

"Ally, why didn't you just tell me?" He said, trying not to sound disapointed

"I didn't want you to be mad.." I replied

"I'm not mad" he said, looking hurt that I hadn't told him. He looked crushed and I could tell he was trying to hide it. I felt horrible, I got an idea to try to make it up to him.

"How about we go to the carnival tonight, just you and me? And we'll go again tomorrow with everyone?" I offered.

"Okay, when do you wanna leave?" He said, putting on his best fake smile.

"Well, it's 5:30 now, and it opened at 5 so we can go right now if you want?" I said

"Sure, let me grab some money" he answered opening my closet and grabbing his bag that he had his wallet in.

"Alrighty, I'll bring some too" I said

"No you won't, there's no way I'm letting you pay for anything" he said taking the money I had gotten out lf my drawer and putting it on my desk.

"Come on, pleaseee" I begged

"Nope." He said, poking my nose and smiling

"Uhg, fineeee" I said overdramatically, he laughed.

"Let me change real quick and then we can go okay?" I said as I pulled my pair of light blue skinny jeans out of my closet.

"Why do you need to change? You look fine" he asked.

"I don't want to be cold" I began, "the temperature will go down as it gets darker." I finished.

"Oh I see" he said giggling, "I'll meet you down stairs" he added as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

---DANNY'S POV---

10 minutes later Ally came down the stairs wearing her jeans and a black and white striped shear shirt with lace sleeves and a grey tank top underneath. She had taken her hair down and scrunched it, she looked so pretty.

"Ready?" She asked

"Mhm" I said as I nodded my head.

"ALEX, ME AND DANNY ARE GOING OUT! WE'LL BE BACK EVENTUALLY!" Ally yelled

"K! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Alex shouted back

"CARNIVAL! BYE" she hollered, pulling me out the door and slamming it behind us, not giving Alex a chance to respond. We walked down the driveway and turned left towards the carnival.
