Chapter 10

---DANNY'S POV---

I woke up in a panic around 2 in the morning. I had no clue where I was, there was no lights, and as far as I knew I was alone.

/Hey, what's that?/ I thought as I felt somthing next to me.

"Ally.." I breathed, suddenly remembering where I was and what was going on. I grabbed my phone and turned it on for light. I pointed it towards Ally, she looked so peacful. I could hear her slow breathing, and see her chest slowly rising and falling. Her blonde hair was fanned out around her head, making it look like a halo, like an angel. She started to stir and her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Hey" I whispered

"Hi" she said back in a hushed voice, "what time is it?" She added.

"2ish" I replied. Her eyes got wide and she sat straight up.

"Danny! We have to go! My moms gonna kill us!" She exclaimed

"Oh shit! I didn't even think of that! Come on!" I said, quickly climbing out of bed and slipping my feet into my sneakers. Ally picked up her phone from the table and put it in her pocket. I saw her shiver so I took off my sweatshirt and handed it to her.

"Thanks" she said smiling and greatfully taking it. She pulled it over her head,

"Lets go" she said placing my snapback on my head and leading me out the door.

---ALLY'S POV---

I stepped out of the door of the cabin and realized I had no idea where I was going.

"Maybe you should lead" I said to Danny as I latched onto his arm. He chuckled softly and whispered,

"This way" and started navigating us out of the woods. The only noise for the first 5 minutes was the sound of sticks snapping under the weight of our bodies. All of a sudden my phone went off and startled me. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw a text from Alex,

Alex: where the hell r u guys!?

Me: coming home right now, is mom freaking out?

Alex: where were u this whole time? And no i covered for u, her and gina came home around 10 and i told them u guys already went to bed

Me: tell u later, long story. And ohmygosh alex thank u so much! I owe u 1

Alex: k, and yeah u do, c u when u get here

Me: k, thanks again:p

Alex: np :P

"We owe Alex, big time." I said as I slid my phone back in my pocket.

"Why?" Danny asked.

"He covered for us, he told our moms we were in bed when they got home at 10" I explained.

"Really? Wow, yeah we do. Well, us getting him and Cj together will be our way of repaying him" he said

"Yeah, good idea" I said, as we stepped out of the woods and arrived at the shut down carnival.

"This way" Danny said, taking my hand and leading me to the gates we had entered through earlier. We got about half way through when we heard,

"Hey! You! You kids! What are you doing here! Don't move!" We whirled around and saw a big birly security guard barreling towards us. We shared a paniced look and nodded, silently agreeing to;

"RUN!" Danny shouted grabbing my wrist and pulling me away from the bear sized man

"HEY! No! Stay right there! Take one more step and I'll call the police" he barked.
