Chapter 1: Life is Good

KIM'S P.O.V

I couldn't be happier right now. So far my life has been perfect ever since me and Jack I got together about a month ago. I officially broke up with Chase right after Jack an I got together so I wouldn't have to deal with him anymore.

Right now the gang and I are at Jack's house watching a movie in his screening room. Jack and I are cuddled up on one of the couches, Jerry and Jocelyn are on another. Eddie, Milton, Sam (the newest, and youngest member of the dojo) and Rudy each have there own. We were watching Parental Guidance, -which would not be my first choice because I'm to old for these kind of movies- because we had Sam with us. Throughout the movie I was switching between watching the movie and talking to Jack. After the movie Rudy and Sam left because they said they were going to get Sam a new go for the talent show coming up. Milton said he and Julie were having a rubble date with Eddie and Kelsey so, Eddie and Milton. Jocelyn ended up forcing Jerry to go shopping with her, so me and Jack were the only ones left.

"So what do you want to do?" Jack asked while standing up and stretching.

"Well...." I began while doing the same thing. "I need a new outfit, and you need some shoes that I CAN'T smell from a mile away" I replied.

"HEY" Jack shouted. "That's not very nice"

"Neither is the smell of your shoes" I fired back.

"Ugh fine" Jack sighed "I'll go shopping with you" He gave in.

"Thank you" I said, shills going and putting on my shoes with Jack following suit.

We got into Jack's red and black 2014 Camaro, and headed to the mall. When we got there we went to look for shoes for Jack first. After he found 2 pairs we went to get me a new outfit. I got a nice orange crop top and a pair of pre-ripped skinny jeans, and of coarse Jack insisted on paying for everything. Since I still had the money I was going to use I decided to spend it on some make-up and nail polish.

"Jack, I'm going to get some make-up" I said.

"You don't need make-up" Jack replied.

"Yeah I do, if you don't want to come with me you can go to the skate shop or something and I can text you when I'm done" I replied thinking that was why he said I don't need make-up.

"That's not my why you don't need make-up Kim, I think you look even more beautiful without it" Jack said, making me blush.

"Thank you" I replied while giving him a quick peck on the lips." That's very sweet of you to say but I'm still going to get foundation and lip gloss" I continued.

"Fine" Jack whined while intertwining our figures and leading me into the store.

After a while of walking around the mall we decided to head back to Jack's house. When we got there Jack's parents greeted us. She had been gone on a business trip for the past 4 weeks and his dad is in the military and had been deployed about a year ago. I always felt bad for Jack because he rarely sees his dad and his mom is always on business trips. This is one of the rare times that he gets to see them both at the same time so I figured I would let them have there family time after I greeted them.

"Dad!" Jack shouts while dropping my hand and running to his dad, giving both his dad and his mom a hug.

"Hey, Jack" both his parents say while I stand back and watch awkwardly. I had never met Jack's dad but new a lot about him because Jack has talked about him a lot since we started dating.

"Hey, Kim" Jack's mom said to me.

"Hi, Mrs.Brewer" I replied. "Jack I think I'm gonna go and let you guys hang out" I said, giving him a hug.

"Wait Kim, this is my dad" Jack said while pointing to his dad. "Dad this is my girlfriend Kim" Jack said.l, while grabbing my hand again.

"Nice to finally meet you Mr.Brewer" I said trying to be polite.

"You to, Kim, I've heard so much about you but this is the first time I've heard that you and Jack are dating" He replied.

"Yeah that's because we started dating about three weeks ago and the last time I talked to you was about 5 weeks ago" Jack replied.

"Well it's nice that you guys FINALLY got together" Jack's mom said.

"So Kim, why don't you come go kart racing with us" Jack's dad asked me.

"Wait go kart racing" Jack asked confused.

"Yeah we thought you might want to do something fun with your parents" Jack's mom said.

"Awsome" Jack said.

"So Kim, you coming?" Jack's dad asked again. I started thinking really hard about this. I don't want to say no and hurt there feelings but I don't want to intrude.

"Please, Kim" Jack said while giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Sure" I said, caving into those beautiful eyes.

"Thank you" Jack shouted pulling me into a tight hug.

"Should we be insulted by that action?" Jacks dad joked. I could tell right away that Jack's family and I were going to get along great.

"Oh come on, we all knew that I was goin g to be happy when I found out everyone I love the most were all going to be hanging out together" Jack said.

"Awww" I said Mainly only referring to the 'everyone I love the most' part. "Now you have to choose who do you love the most?" I joked.

"Hmmm........"Jack said thinking. He might actually answer this question honestly. "I'm gonna have to go with Kim because one she never grounded me and two she hasn't really ever annoyed me." Before he could continue his mom cut him off.

"I gave birth to you" She yelled jokingly.

"Oh, yeah use the I gave birth to you, you should be happy he said he loves his girlfriend" Jack's dad jumped in.

"Fine can we go now" Jack's mom(Mary) asked.

"Yeah let's get going"

"Okay Kim and I are going in my car" Jack replied.

"Okay just follow behind us" Jack's dad said.

"Okay" Jack said while grabbing my hand and pulling me out the door.

Once we got in the car and started driving I started talking.

"Hey Jack did you really mean it when you said that you love me the most?" I asked.

"Well um, you see, Yeah" Jack replied shyly.

"Well in that case I love you too" I replied leaning over to kiss his cheek.
