Chapter 5: He's back

KIM'S P.O.V

"What the hell are you doing here" I asked instantly.

"I came to apologize" The character replied.

"Yeah, well, apology not excepted"

"Look, Kim, I can apologize until I can't talk anymore, but I can never take back the mistake I made" He pleaded.

"What you did broke me Brady" I said angrily.

"I know and I would do anything to fix it" Brady stated. "How about we start off fresh and go on a date tonight"

I shifted on my foot a little when I felt Jack tense up a little behind me. To calm him down I grabbed his hand.

"How about we don't go on a date and you go away" I said. At this point I was really mad.

"Come on Kim, I know you still want me" Brady said, walking over to me and stroking my hair. I pulled my head back and Brady backed up. Jack didn't like the action either Is my guess based on his fuming demeanor.

"Back off Brady, I have a boyfriend" I said.

"Oh let me have a word with him" Brady said. I guess he never really noticed that Jack and I were holding hands, which doesn't surprise me.

"If you really want to I can call him right now" I stated. I heard my cousins snicker in the background.

"Yeah call him right now" Brady said anxiously.

"Okay" I said as I pulled out my phone and "called" Jack.

"Hey Jack could you help me out" I said. As soon as the words left my mouth Jack dropped my hand and stepped out in front of me.

"So what's the problem" Jack questioned Brady. Brady was obviously intimidated by Jack because 1.) Jack is way taller, and 2.) Jack is way more muscular then Brady.

"Nothing...... No problem..........I was just leaving" Brady studdered.

"Yeah that's a good idea" Jack replied coldly.

"Yeah, I'll do that" Brady replied, as he got into his car and pulled out of my driveway.

"That was entertaining" Rocky said ending the silence, that had taken over.

"Who was that?" Jack asked, with a hint of anger in his voice.

"That was Kim's ex boyfriend" Rydel answered for me.

"How do you know who he is, but I don't?" Jack asked astonished.

"Because I dated him before you moved to Seaford" I answered.

"Oh okay" There was a pregnant pause before Jack continued. "What did you mean, when you said he broke you?"

"Well he cheated on me and almost got me arrested for something I didn't do, but the hardest part was that I did love him at the time, when we broke up I swore I would never love again, and then you came into my life and fixed me" I said shyly.

Jack pulled me into a hug. We just stood there hugging for a good 3 minutes.

"Awwwwww" Rydel said ruining our moment. "You guys are so cute together"

"I know" Jack said being his usual, cocky self.

Suddenly my mom pulled into the driveway.

"No way" She shouted excitedly, as she got out of her car. "How are you guys" my mom said as she hugged them all.

"Great" they replied.

Everyone started heading inside while Jack pulled me aside.

"Is there anything else I should know about?" He asked when everyone had gotten inside.

"Can we talk about this latter when I have nothing else to do?" I asked. I wasn't trying to be mean, but I was angry right now and Jack bringing the subject back up wasn't helping.

"Jeez okay, I was just asking" Jack stated.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to come out that way, it's just that this is a touchy subject and I'm already upset" I replied.

"Its okay, let's just go inside" Jack said, grabbing my hand and leading me into the house where everybody was talking.

"Yeah, you should do that, Kim would love it" I heard my mom whisper as we entered the house.

JACK'S P.O.V

While Kim was arguing with that Brady, dude, I asked her cousins if I could sing a song to Kim at one of their concerts.

I was supposed to distract Kim while Ross, Rocky, Riker, Rydel, and Ratliff got her mom's opinion on this. I didn't really need to ask Kim if there was anything I needed to know, if there was anything Kim would tell me, but Kim kinda lashed out on me, so I ended it sooner then I should have. As soon as we walked into the house you could hear everyone discussing the plan.

"Hey" I said trying to them aware that we were in the house, so they would stop talking.

"Oh hey" Everyone replied awkwardly.

"Hwats going on?" Kim asked slowly.

"So, I heard you and Jack are going on tour with your cousins" Kim's mom said, changing the subject.

"Yeah, I can't wait!" Kim said, sounding excited.
