When we reached Jack's house we all got out of the limo and headed inside the house.
I gave Jack a hug and told him that I had to go home.
"Okay, remember, I have another interview at 3 o'clock today so I thought we could maybe get some lunch or something before that?" Jack discretely asked.
"Yeah, sure." I smiled. Other than our movie date it has been a while since just Jack and I did something.
"Okay, I'll pick you up around 11:30." I smiled and gave him one more hug before I started to walk to my house.
"Oh wait, your walking?" Jack shouts as I reach the sidewalk. I turn around and give him a weird look as he ran toward me.
"Yeah, how else would I get home?" I asked.
"I don't know." Jack stated. "I'll walk with you." he grabbed my hand and interlocked our figures.
"You don't have to." I told him.
"I know but that doesn't mean I don't want to." He said.
"You know Jack, I understand what's going on. I know you have things that need to be taken care of before your interview." I pried my hand out of his.
"What are you talking about?" Jack asked confused.
"I know that you have stuff to do so go and do it. I can walk by myself." I tried to walk away when Jack grabbed my arm.
"What are you talking about?" Jack repeated. "Where is all of this even coming from?" He asked. That got me thinking. I don't know where all of this was coming from, I mean there was absolutely no problem a few minutes ago but for me to sit there and tell Jack that I didn't know why I was upset was out of the question. "What's going on Kim?" Jack asked. I might have had an answer for him in the past but at this point in time that was I question that I only felt like discussing with myself so I put on a fake smile and sucked up whatever my problem was.
"Nothing, never mind, forget I even said anything." I shrugged and walked away, this time I actually made it home.

JACK'S P.O.V

I watched Kim as she disappeared around the corner. What was she talking about. Whatever it was it must've had some background because everything was just fine until I offered to walk with her to her house. I walked into my house still completely confused about the whole situation.
"What's wrong Jack?" My mom asked.
"Mom can I ask you a question?" I asked.
"Yeah, what's on your mind?" She replied.
"Well, a few minutes ago I offered to walk Kim home and she just got really upset." I began.
"What'd she say?" My mom asked.
"She told me that she knows that I have stuff I take care of before my next interview and basically refused to let me walk her home." I stated.
"Honey, I think Kim feels like you don't have enough time for her anymore." My mom stated.
"Why would she think that, I literally just asked her if she wanted to go out to lunch today." I defended.
"Yeah but a 20 minute lunch doesn't make up for 12 hours you spend everyday getting your hair and makeup done and talking to interviewers and reporters." My mom acknowledged.
"So do you think I'm not spending enough time with her?" I asked.
"I mean, it's pretty obvious that you guys have been spending a lit of time together," My mom began. I smiled, so u really wasn't doing anything wrong. "I just think she wants to spend more time with Jack, not Jack Brewer." She added.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask confused.
"You have been spending a lot of time with her but it's always either been in front of your friends and family or in front of the camera. Before you started your whole singing career you guys spent a lot of time together, just the two of, you know, you guys would sit up in your room goofing off for hours. I just think Kim is having a hard time making this transfer." I nodded, finally understanding what my mom was saying.
"So what should I do?" I asked.
"Honey, it's important for you to know that when you start dating your girlfriend is not only going to need you to be there for her as her boyfriend but she also need you there as her best friend. I think you should just go over to her house and talk to her like you would when you guys were 'just' best friends." My mom stated.
"Okay, I'm going to go over there right now." I replied.

KIM'S P.O.V

I thought and thought and thought but I just didn't understand why I was so upset about the whole situation, that is until I began to think about the things that Jack and I have done. Almost everything that I can remember was either with our friends, his family, or I front of a camera. I started to realize that maybe I was just having trouble adapting to all the change. I thought about that too.
"Hey Kimmy." I heard a deep voice say.
"Hey." I rolled over to look at my brother. "What's up?" I ask.
"Kody and I are going to get ice cream, wanna join us?" Kenton asked.
"No thanks." I shrugged.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing." I stated. Kenton gave me that look that said 'I don't believe you at all'. "I'm just thinking." I said.
"Thinking about what?" Kenton pressed.
"Things." I stated.
"What kind of things?" I was getting ready to yell at him but then Kody jumped in.
"Leave Kim alone Ken." Kody stated. Kenton stopped asking me questions and walked out of my room.
"Thanks Kody." I smiled he waved and walked out behind Kenton.
I laid back down and stared at the ceiling.
"Hey." Another voice interrupts my thoughts.
"Hey." I sigh.
"Can we talk." The words you never want to here from your boyfriend or your girlfriend.
"I guess so." I managed to get out. He came over and laid down next to me, grabbing my hand in the process. We sat there for a few minutes in silence.
"Tell me how you feel." Jack blurted out after a while.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Tell me how you feel." Jack repeated.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Do your feel like we're not spending enough time together?" Jack asked.
"I think we spend a lot of time together, I think that what I want is to spend more time with just you and I don't mean Jack Brewer, I mean I want to spend time with Jack, the adorable, smart, overprotective, jerk that I fell in live with." I stated.
"So why didn't you just tell me that?" Jack asked.
"I didn't really understand why I was upset until I sat down and really focused on it. I also thought about the fact that you have a career now. Things aren't the same as they were when we started dating and I guess I was just having trouble wrapping that around my head." I stated.
"Kim if you ever have any concerns what so ever I want you to know that you can talk to me." Jack stated.
"I know that in my heart it's just that my heart and my brain weren't talking." I told him.
"So I don't have interviews tomorrow and I canceled my time at the studio so what do you say to spending the whole day together?" Jack asked.
"I would love to." I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Are we still on for lunch today?" Jack asked.
"Yeah." We laid there for about and hour talking about different things until Jack spoke up.
"I have to get home and change." He stated. "I'll be back and about 11:30." He added as he stood up. I stood up also and gave him a hug before he left.

TIME SKIP 11:35

I sat on the couch waiting for Jack to show up. When I heard a knock on the door I out my shoes on and walked out.
"Hey." I smiled.
"Hey." We walked over to the limo that I have become to familiar with. I climbed in and sat down. Jack followed behind me. The ride to wherever we were going was long and pretty much silent other than the small tv in the background.
"Where are we?" I asked as we came to a stop. Jack didn't answer, just pulled out a picnic basket from underneath one of the seats and made his way out of the limo.
"Come on." He grabbed my hand and dragged me behind him as I took in my surroundings. We appeared to be at some kind of camp ground. The farther we walked into the wooded are the more beautiful it looked.
"What are we doing here?" I asked.
"I wanted to bring you to a secluded place because almost everything we do now is in some random magazine." Jack stated. "I also wanted it to be beautiful and so here we are."
"So what are we 'doing' here?" I repeated. Jack held up the picnic basket.
"Eating, and maybe a little hiking." He stated.
"Cool." I smiled. We found a nice spot to sit on by a lake. We ate, talked, and laughed for about 2 hours and then we went hiking for about twenty minutes, stoping to take pictures every now and then.
"I really like this picture." Jack said, handing me his phone so I could see it. We are currently in the limo on our way to Jack's interview. The picture was taken by someone we passed as we were hiking, it was of me and Jack sitting in a tree.
"Send it to me." i told him.
"Okay." he took his phone out of my hands and sent me the picture.
"So did you enjoy that?" Jack asked.
"Enjoy the date?" I asked. Jack nodded. "Yeah, I had a great time." I stated.
"Good." Jack smiled and pulled me closer to him. I ended up falling asleep for the rest of the ride to his interview.
