Right When You Think Life Is Good

Chapter 7: WASHINGTON

KIM'S P.O.V

We are now 3 weeks into the tour and, almost in Washington. I can't wait to see Jack. I have never gone this long without him. According to Rydel, I'm happier when Jack's around. 

Even without Jack, I had a great time. I got to go to all there concerts and I got to stay backstage. One time they brought me onstage and told everyone I was there cousin, then I sang a few songs with them, and after the sho people were asking me for my autograph.  

I had a great time but it would've been so much better with Jack.  

"So, you ready to see Jack?" Rydel asked me as we pulled up the venue they would be playing. 

"I'm so ready to see him, but he said he won't be here until you guys actually go on" I replied happily at first and upset at the end. 

"Yeah I heard about that, so did you have fun with just us though?" Russel asked. 

"Oh, Yeah I had a great time" I said, now happy again. 

"WE'RE HERE" We all heard the bus driver shout from the front of the bus.  

"Okay" The guys shouted as they turned off their video game. 

Rydel and I got off the bus first and the guys followed. As soon as we got off the bus, you could hear the fans shouting. 

Amongst all the people shouting "R5", I heard some people shouting "who is she". They were obviously refering to me. Ross, Rocky, Riker, Rydel, Ratliff, and I started walking towards the building, but in order to get in we had to go past a large group of fans, who all seemed to be wondering, who I am. 

"Who, is she, who is she" We heard everyone shout over and over again. 

"Her?" Ross asked, pointing to. The fans all nod there heads, shout "yes". 

"That's our cousin, Kim" Riker answered for everyone. After they took a few photos with fans, we went inside the venue. They did vocal warm-up, joked around for a while, did sound check and then we went out for diner.  

We got back to the venue, just as there show opener got onstage. I didn't get a good look at the person, as all I saw was the back of there head. I didn't really care who was opening their show until I heard an all to familiar voice. 

"Hey, I'm Jack Brewer, I recently got singed with R5's manger, who got me a record label, and then got me here. This is the biggest concert I have ever performed. I'm going to sing a new song that I wrote for my girlfriend, who is backstage" Jack said, before he started singing.

JACK'S P.O.V

I got onstage, so excited to finally sing an original song for Kim. I started talking and explaining everything to the crowd. "I'm going to sing a new song that I wrote for my girlfriend, who is backstage" I said. As soon as I finished the sentence I heard a bunch of awwws from the girls in the crowd. I ignored them and started singing my song, "Pretty Brown Eyes". When I finished I started to walk off stage, when R5 came on and stopped me. 

"Hey everybody, this is a good Friend of ours and he will be opening for us again, but we will also be opening for him sometimes." Ross said. 

"Hey, I also think he's got a new CD out right guys" Riker said. 

"Yeah, I heard its supposed to be great" Rydel replied. 

"Wait, what's the name of it again" Ross asked, knowing that I would be embarrassed.  

"3 Weeks Without You" I mumbled. 

"What was that" Riker joked. 

"3 Weeks Without You" I repeated loud and proud. I made a song about Kim, and how I wouldn't see her for three weeks and that's the album name that they decided I should do. Now I wouldn't have been embarrassed if I didn't know Kim was backstage. I just thought she would think it's weird that I named my album that.
