KIM'S P.O.V
The concert in Cali went off without a hitch and two days after my cousins went back home. Jack and I have been hanging out with the guys at the dojo a lot and I must admit, I miss having some time alone with him.
"Hey Kimmy." Jack said, as I opened my front door for him. For some reason we decided to go for a short walk. Not too long but not incredibly short.
"Hey." I responded as we walked.
"So I was wondering if you wanted to see a movie or something." He stated more then asked. "Just the two of us." He added.
"Sounds great, what are we seeing?" I questioned.
"I don't know, what do you want to see?"
"Ummmm, The Avengers or Logan." I replied.
"I've wanted to see Logan to." Jack smiled. "I'll check the times and text you when it's showing."
"Okay." I smiled.
"I have to go, but I'll call you later." Jack said, kissed me on the cheek then began to walk away. I grabbed his hand and turned him to face me.
"Where are you going?" I asked confused. This is how he's been a lot lately. The only time he acts normal is when we're with the guys.
"I uhhh have to go meet with my producer." Jack replied.
"Okay, I have to get home." I said sadly as I turned to walk away. He grabbed my hand and pulled me back to him.
"I'll walk with you." Jack said with a large smile. It was easy to see that he was trying really hard to look happy.
"It's fine, you don't have to." I said and tried to walk away again.
"Come on Kim. I want to." And so we walked together in silence. Not one of those nice silences. A really awkward silence.
We reached my house and Jack pulled me into a long passionate kiss. It soon escalated into a make out session with me pushed up against the door. That lasted a good ten minutes before I pulled away. I pushed him back slightly and walked into my house without saying a word to Jack.
"What was all that noise?" My mom asked as I walked into the kitchen.
"Hey mom, why are you home so early?" I asked, avoiding her question.
"Nope, that only works on your dad." She responded. "What was all that noise?"
"Nothing." I mumbled.
"Kim." My mom said calmly but stern.
"It's was nothing, just Jack." I said with my head down.
"Okay, what's wrong Kim?" Mom asked
"Jacks been acting different and it kind of bothers me."
"What do you mean?"
"He just, he's been avoiding me a little and isn't talking as much. He's just not the Jack that I have come to love." I whispered.
"He probably has a lot on his mind. When you guys first started dating he didn't have as much on his plate. Now he's got a record deal and lots of fans that he has to worry about." Mom replied.
"That doesn't explain why he is avoiding me and not talking to me." I said.
"Maybe your just looking at it wrong."
"What do you mean?"
"Maybe he just doesn't have a lot of time. I doubt that he's really trying to ignore Kim." My mom said.
