"So you're a succubus, your brother is trying to kill you and you've practically pissed off everyone in the world. Morgan, you need to make friends from better neighbourhoods."

"Would you get off it? Clearly I've never met her before." Morgan snapped.

"You said you that you would help me." Alyssa said. She snapped Morgan's leg back in place, and he stifled a scream.

"That was before you told us all that crap about being hunted." Morgan stammered out of breath.

"I need a devil's trap and the runes for an exorcism circle."

Owen looked at Morgan. Morgan stared away for a bit. "I did say I'd do it." He exasperatedly admitted.

There was an awkward pause. Alyssa stared at her shoes and Morgan guiltily avoided her face.

"By the way, you suck at fighting." Owen teased Alyssa.

"I ripped off his arm and crumpled his kneecap. You like, threw a couple of rocks."

"But I hit him in the eye. Plus, he had six arms and a ginormous cock."

"Please get over it."

"I mean, if you took a leg or that giant pendulum between his legs I'd have conceded defeat. But you took an arm."

"Please can we not talk about it? And also, the amount of false equivalence here is rivalling that of a republican speech on women's rights."

"I can't help it. It was just like monstrously huge."

"Owen, right? If you say one more word about his penis I'll... I'll... I don't even know. It was really big..." She giggled.

"My leg is in unbelievable amounts of pain, if anyone was wondering." Morgan groaned.

"If you hold still for another fifteen minutes you'll be all better." Alyssa turned from Owen, and walked over to Morgan. She splayed her palm and started concentrating, and Owen could see a faint glow surround her hand. Owen watched as the bones and muscles aligned in Morgan's leg. Morgan tried sitting still while Alyssa used her magic but he felt as if the air around his leg burned as she worked.

"Are you okay?" Owen asked Alyssa.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She half smiled, concentrating on Morgan's leg.

"You sure? He-... It was a he, right? He said some creepy shit."

"Quite the euphemism. But it's normal for demons like him. Just how things are in Limbo. It's a horrid wasteland. It's primal and raw. You take what you want and what you can. Pure savagery. That's why there aren't many succubi anymore. And those of us who are left have gone to The New World or remain on earth. Limbo is no place for the fragile."

"You sound like you speak from experience." Owen said uncomfortably.

"Worry about yourself tough guy. He'll want revenge. A little human that made him lose his prey."

"We'll I guess I'll just have to stick with you then."

"Aww, friends? No thanks." She said coldly. "Get your boyfriend over here to teach you how to defend yourself."

"Like you're so well off without us." Owen pouted.

"Listen, I don't fucking need you. I can take care of myself." She said.

"You know, maybe, just maybe it'd be nice to have people looking out for you, you know. "

"Owen. This is not your problem." Morgan cautioned.
