Late Night Hugs

Chapter 7

Blake jumped at the sound of his alarm clock. "Shit! I have to go to Zoe's!" Blake grabbed some clothes and drove to her house.
As Blake got to Zoe's, he parked his car and knocked on the door.
Zoe opened the door and threw herself into his arms. "Hi." She smiled, "I already told my dad the news." She continued excitedly as she led him into the house.
"Hey, Blake! You scored big." Mr. André discretely pointed at Zoe.
"I scored larger than life!" Blake joked, hugging Zoe as he talked.
Zoe blushed, "Aw, you guys!" She laughed.
"So, I'm guessing you guys are gonna go do something today?" Mr. André asked, motioning at Zoe and Blake.
"Yep, I was going to take Zoe to the beach so we could maybe go over some wedding plans." Blake scratched his neck.
"Alright, well you better get going." Mr. André said, stepping forward, he waved Zoe away from Blake. "Take good care of her." He said, taking Blake's hand and giving him a bro hug.
Blake nodded and escorted Zoe to the passenger side of the car before getting in his side and driving off.

Zoe hopped out of the car, she grabbed her purse and slung it over her shoulder.
Blake grabbed a blanket from his trunk and set it down on the sand.
Zoe watched as the water lapped up on the sand. She walked over to the blanket and sat down, "It'll be so nice living here." She smiled.
"Yea, it will..." Blake wavered, "So, where do you want to have our wedding?"
"Maybe on the beach, and then have the reception somewhere indoors." Zoe suggested.
"Good idea..." Blake wavered.
Zoe leaned over and kissed Blake softly.
Blake smiled and stroked Zoe's cheek.
"I love you, babe." She whispered. "Now, let's go have some fun." She laughed, getting up and pulling Blake along with her. She ran into the water up to her ankles.
Blake laughed and ran after Zoe, he bent down and splashed some water at her playfully.
Zoe smiled brightly and splashed a wave of water into Blake's face.
Blake tried to dodge but failed miserably, resulting in him falling into the water.
Zoe laughed harder, she calmed down and walked over to Blake to help him up.
"It's not fair! I'm all wet and your not!" Blake pouted, he suddenly got a mischievous smirk on his face.
Zoe backed up as she spotted Blake's mischievous look.
Blake ran towards her and gave her a big wet hug, pulling her into the water with him.
"Bl-!" She began before getting a mouthful of water.
Blake laughed and helped her up, still holding a smirk on his face.
Zoe chuckled, "Your evil." She hugged him.
Blake hugged her back and laughed, "But, you love it." Blake replied.
"Sure do." She smirked, grabbing Blake's face and kissing him.
Blake kissed her back, and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Zoe pulled back and leaned her forehead against Blake's.
"We should probably go get some new clothes." Blake laughed.
"Alright." Zoe held Blake's hand as they walked back to the car.

Do you guys want the chapters to be longer? They are a little short, but we do upload quite frequently so I'm not sure if it's absolutely necessary to do so.
