Chapter 10

- 3 months later -

I walk downstairs as someone knocks on the door, I answer it.

"Hey josh."

"Hey you."

He says kissing me.

"Why are you so happy?"

I ask.

"It's our 14 months."

He tells me.

"Oh... How could I forget..."

I say slowly.

"Haha. Here these are for you."

He hands me a bunch of flowers.

"Aww thanks. I wish I had something for you."

I say sadly.

"You do."

He says placing his hands on my stomach, he then kisses it.

Something feels weird, josh steps back and says

"Did you pee yourself?"

"No..."

I say dragging it out.

"I think my water broke."

Josh starts to panic

"Where's your mum?"

"At work. Your parents?"

I ask.

"Work."

He says.

I feel a contraction coming and I scream. It hurts more than period pain like 10 times worse.

I fall to my knees cause it hurts so much, josh kneels beside me.

"We've got to get you to a hospital."

"My car is at a garage so we need your bike."

I tell him.

"No. Remember last time."

He stands straight away.

"That was a year ago. This is different."

I can't believe it was a year ago when we had the accident.

"Please josh."

He nods his head and helps me up.

He runs upstairs and comes back a few minutes later with a pillow and a bag.

We walk to his bike and we get on.

Josh makes sure I'm ok before we go.

It's a quick ride because traffic isn't big.

We get to the hospital and I have another contraction.

A doctor sees us and helps me into a wheelchair.

"What's your name?"

"Elissa Cary and this is josh. The father."

I tell him.

"Ok we'll get you a room."

He says.

Within a few minutes I'm in the delivery room.

The doctor says

"You're ready to give birth. On the count of 3 push."
